I recently embarked on a 2,500km journey from Canada to North Carolina to attend DIGSTOCK, a renowned metal detecting event in the United States. The trip allowed me to connect with fellow enthusiasts who share my passion for the hobby, and I was pleased to form new friendships along the way.

Although my finds may not have been substantial, the experience was invaluable, and I'm already looking forward to attending the 2026 event – albeit by air, given the considerable distance. The scenic drive was breathtaking, but undeniably lengthy.
