This video talks about a theory that Subaru Natsuki and Flugel, the Sage who helped seal Satella 400 years ago, are the same person. Shaula treating Subaru like someone from the past, Volcanica knowing Patrasche's name, Satella's love for him, the star naming habit, the Witch Factors and the Gospels. Together they suggest the world was prepared for Subaru long before he arrived.

If that comment is true I want to think that Subaru was Flugel in the past and returned to Japan without memories but he knew deep inside something was wrong.
Missing school out of nowhere could be because he felt something wasn't right, and if we look at his room we'll notice there are many figures and pictures of girls with white hair, unconsciously He thought about Satella but had no memories.
To this I add that everyone says he was very physically weak, and the Subaru we know exercised often.
If that comment I saw was true So his obsession with white-haired girls, wanting to be stronger, and suddenly dropping out of school are all things that need to be taken into account.
I risk this comment being pure rambling, but I want to try.

Patrasche’s name is an Earth book reference, that Subaru used because he read that book. It’s the name of the dog from A Dog of Flanders, released in 1872.
So basically, it’s a word that should not exist in that world, that is already rare knowledge in our world (how many of you read A Dog of Flanders?), so it’s something ONLY Subaru could have brought in.
The fact that old Volcanica knew her name is alone evidence that time shenanigans are involved.
