I love how the commentators get so involved with social media through the race.
Also props to the person at 3:01:45 who remembered the Zakspeed Viper

19:13:25 When the Boss suddenly shows up in the commentary box :D "I've left you with a perfectly happy race going on, and you guys managed to destroy a fan favourite" :D

My dad was such an endurance fan. He would have loved this type of coverage! I'm hooked. The Nordschleife is my dream vacation. But watching these drivers at night is absolutely insane! Love it!
8:59:05 yeah I was Literally standing in front of the tv when you said that.

This footage has some of the best level mixing of engine sounds versus commentary I've seen and heard!

Here I am at Easter 2024 re watching the 2023 race - in preparation for the 2024 edition. I hope I can watch this year’s edition on YouTube again in NZ this year!

I switched streams through the race since i really liked the english commentary, too. the only thing i was a little bit sad about - and this takes nothing away from the fantastic streams in german and english here on youtube - is that the audience couldn't experience the fantastic 2 x 2 laps by Dirk Adorf in a Supra in which he drove an commented at the same time for the german TV broadcast. he did this before in a BMW and it's so thrilling to watch. but like i said, take nothing away from the great streams and great online community worldwide. it's a shame we have to wait another whole year now for the next one...

If you’ve never been, go. Im from the UK and this was my third time at this event. The buzz and aura about the whole place is almost tangible. Watching from Kesselchen at 3AM as the cars approach Mutkurve is an experience. Pitch black, until they come zooming past. The best race in the calendar ❤️❤️

If there was only good thing. about the pandemic, it was discovering the replay of the 2019 race on YouTube during our lockdown. I was intrigued by the racing and also the entirely unique techniques they use to manage safety through Code 60s, slow zones and the like. I will be a remaining life long fan. I watch what I can live but will are watching the entire replay as the coming days go along.
