With just two weeks’ notice, Victor flew from Melbourne to New Zealand to join Zennon in the kitchen—a union of modern Chinese and refined New Zealand cuisine. From the creative chaos came pure culinary magic.

Victor Liong is the chef/owner of Lee Ho Fook, a contemporary Chinese restaurant decorated with Two Hats from the Good Food Guide. Zennon Wijlens, named Cuisine Magazine Chef of the Year 2023/24, is the driving force behind Michelin starred Paris Butter, one of New Zealand's most celebrated restaurants.
