I never watched a WNBA game until Caitlin Clark started playing for the Fever team. I believe there are millions of fans like me in this world who started watching WNBA games because of Caitlin Clark.
You have to remember that the WNBA isn't a business it is a charity. They don't care about putting a product on the court. This is a charity of the NBA and until the NBA stands up and withdrawals their money things will continue just as they are currently happening.
Last game didn't look too much like basketball. Aces trying to break Lexie's arm, break Caitlin's collarbone, and knock her teeth out. Not sportsmanlike at all.
I'm dumbfounded at how a league is treating a young superstar that has very high potential to boost the league. Its like they don't want her and are doing everything they can to get her out along with her fans. Can you imagine the NBA treating Michael Jordon or the NHL Wayne Gretzky like this? Yeah, they had fans and other teams that hated them, but that's sports. Everyone in the head offices were doing all they could to promote them while riding their stardom.
Clean house in the WNBA corporate structure and referring work force and start over with honest professional experienced leaders at both the corporate and refereeing level..
