The 6 week rule still applies if you’ve had a c-section!!! It has nothing to do with that. It’s because when the placenta leaves the body with the baby you are left with a huge gaping wound in your uterus from where the placenta was. This leaves you at high risk for infection. I’ve had a c section and my doctor explained this to me at length.

This is also why you still bleed like crazy after birth even when it was a c-section. Many women have to wear adult diapers for a while. It’s not because of tearing or anything it’s the internal wound in your uterus. I hate misinformation 🤦‍♀️
