I’m a Met fan. I wish my team played like these guys. They’re into every play mentally and physically. They play the game the way it should be played. Congratulations Dodgers.

This is coming from a Texas Rangers fan, and my favorite player is Corey Seager, who used to play for the Dodgers. So, I’m sure that he’s happy for the team and Clayton Kershaw too.

I’m a die-hard Yankees fan, and I love the Dodgers too, congratulations! 🎉
This is the first time I’ve ever watched the entire series from start to finish. Even though my team didn’t make it, I still kept watching because I truly love the game. Both the Blue Jays and the Dodgers did an amazing job , huge congrats to both of you! 🙌
This game was absolutely insane and one of the best World Series ever. Hoping my Yankees will win it all next time! 💙⚾

Congratulations to the Dodgers on their second consecutive World Championship.
As a native New Yorker (Yankees fan) and LA resident since 2004, I have witnessed the selfless culture the Dodgers have built within their clubhouse. There are no egos, everyone contributes to the overall objective.
To that point, Shohei Ohtani has truly elevated the benchmark of a professional. Upon signing with the Dodgers, Ohtani deferred the majority of his salary to the end of the contract term. This allowed ownership free cap space to add additional players (Yoshi Yamamoto, Roki Sasaki, Tyler Glasnow, Blake Snell) which solidified their starting pitching rotation.
Although not pitching due to recovery from surgery in 2024, Ohtani took Sasaki and Yamamoto under his wing (as a pitcher himself), and advised them on how to attack certain players in key situations. Then upon returning to the mound, Ohtani goes on to strike out 10 and hit 3 home runs in a single game during the 2025 playoff run, SERIOUSLY 😵💫😳.
In this era of ballooning salaries (case in point: Juan Soto at 15yrs/765M w/the Mets which yielded a playoff no show in 2025), it is truly awesome to witness this professional selflessness. I hope it starts a new trend in which others will forsake their own wealth in order to achieve an elevated level of dominance by their respective team.
