This is a story about my final stop on my round-the-world trip: America.
Here, I returned to the home where I did my homestay 40 years ago.
I had many heartwarming experiences, including a reunion with my host sister.
I'd like to share some of those moments.
It may not be helpful for your own travels, but I hope you can get a glimpse of everyday life in America.
And I hope to convey the miracle of how my high school homestay experience has connected me in this way, even after 40 years.
It makes me sad to hear news that young people aren't traveling abroad as much these days.
I have a small hope that having friends and loved ones overseas, around the world, will lead to a world without conflict.
