I came here from the short clip of Bird’s story and I’m not disappointed. 😍

The smile on bill Russell’s face is priceless

That story about Larry Bird was amazing!

I graduated from Bowie High School in El Paso Texas 1976.  Played basketball for this fine coach.  Four years playing for him not one practice was easy.  He had us hit the floor running, lay ups, running, passing, running.  It was the most intense practice sessions of my life.  Run and gun, in your face, full court press, not one second to catch your breath.  5 on 5 off,  all my team mates were ready for the game.  We won, we lost, and we won more than we lost.  The bus rides went from ho hum to bus driver keep going the party is awesome.  The 40 minutes from Hell is an EPIC movie,  watch it.  I bought me a copy.  Coach Nolan Richardson gave me the discipline I needed for life.  I went on to coach a junior high prep school basketball team the “believe” was what I told my players at half time down by 12.  We came back to win the state championship by 1 with 5 seconds to go.  I am glad Coach Nolan Richardson is now in the Hall of Fame,  he is deserving.  God Bless you.

Perhaps the greatest enshrinement speech I have ever seen

"Dam that brother can play"

This man just oozes charisma; i could listen to him talk for hours

Give this man a statue and name the court after him.  It's time.

Has to be one of the greatest induction speeches ever

I love u too Magic, but not as much as I like Bird. lol

I’ve never heard of this gentleman before and I’m disappointed, what a wonderful human being. I’d like to shake his hand and tell him mate you’re a top bloke. I listened to everything he had to say, wonderful speech. This world needs many more Nolan Richardon’s.

This dude should go back to college and teach the art of public speaking. Never a boring moment in that speech.

I don't even care about his highlights or stats this is the type of OG I would just like to hang around and listen to his stories he's hilarious and wise.

Coach Richardson, my coach in junior high at Bowie High School in El Paso, Texas,
an El Paso ICON and friend and I have the honor and privilege in being a part of his Yvonne Richardson Golf Tournament, raising millions that helps 32 charities.

Man, that story about Bird is so funny...and this man is such a dynamic speaker...what player would not love playing for him...he also demonstrates what a fine character he has.

Whos Bird? Boy didnt the World find out !!

That man is a great public speaker. I apologize if I said this before but this never gets old. I could watch this every day.

helluva speech by a helluva man.  Master's class in how to hold to an audience in the palm of your hand.

That's probably the best enshrinement speech that ever was and will be

In order to be a great teacher you have to be a student of life. This man is most definitely that.
