When Bowie says "in 13 years I will be 70"...is so heartbreaking. Dead at 69. And all of that beauty and incomparable talent went with him.

Self-deprecating and witty. He comes across as a genuine person. What a legend.

Very hard to listen to him talking about being 70 years old, and what I feel is a comfortable assumption that he'd get there and surpass that... And to now inow that isn't so. I feel such sorrow for him to have dealt with that bastard called cancer and to have died prior to 70, leaving his lovely wife. Son and young daughter behind. A terrible loss to music and art... But more so for his family. Weeks on, the grief hasnt disappeared yet.
He was an intelligent, articulate, sensitive cultured man, witha lot of talent in a diverse range of arts. His work was inspiring and just downright enjoyable.Truly, a great loss. A musician, song writer, vocalist, actor, painter, entrepreneur, a fashion icon and a visionary in the arts world and its fusion with technology.I don't think we shall ever see such a person again.

Goodbye DB, you were loved and respected across the world,

listening to him talk about being 70 one day breaks my heart. rip david bowie, one of the most influential artists in history

Lovely man, real talent and a brain. Died way too early. People like David should live forever. I hope he does, in everyone's hearts at least. RIP.

one year off making the 70 , RIP DB

Breaks my heart!!  I hope the years went slowly and happily for him. On another note, 57 and still sexy as hell!!! Good lord!

Ok, so... apparently "once made Victoria Beckham crack a smile" was among the long list of unexpected David Bowie accomplishments. :-)

I guess now that I think of it, David Bowie was lucky to have a nice full head of hair for his whole life.

One of the coolest & sexy man! Rest easy Starman

Sadly he didn't make it to 70 😔

Parky : did you ever write poetry? Pretty much every song was a poem 🥰
Bowie, as always, was gracious enough not to laugh

"Only 13 years to 70.".
He never made it. :'(

ook at how he WALKS!!! that's the strut of someone totally in power of their sexuality.
#hero

The most talented, cute, funny, sexy and totally sweet adorable gentleman on the planet.  Our beautiful David will never get old : ) ♥♥♥

Since his death I have listened to a few David Bowie interviews. All his later ones show what insight he had. I love his music. The theatricality. But just listen to the man. His last decades were full of joy. I feel for the loss of his family. David Bowie was many things but most of all I feel he gained wisdom. He learned to truely love and empahise..and that is for all of us our greatest task.

Great to look back at a super intelligent talent who never took himself too seriously. Very witty and sadly missed.

Love the way he said he was 70 in three weeks time (when he was 57) - what a great answer when someone pushes you on your age ... ;)

He was 56 in 2003. Sadly he never made 70. He had only two days of 69

"just buy the bus". Doesn't matter what anyone else says but Bowie says a phrase, and it's always funnier.
