It was their 10th anniversary concert and they played 33 songs. This was song #27 and yes, the energy was at this level the entire show. They are as legit as they come.

The 10 minutes of limp gymnastics means exactly what you think it does

Thanks so much all! That was GREAT! The Maids are, to me, THE Mount Everest of bands. Seriously, the best, most complete band I've had the privilege to experience. They are INCREDIBLE! 🕊

Thank you for checking out the band that re-ignited my love for music 4 years ago! Now over 130 original songs in their catalog and not a single one should be missed. I was fortunate enough to see them 6 times in the U.S. in 2022 and 2023. (And 2 times were in Chicago - one each year.)
And if you really want to learn more about the members and their origins, there is an excellent set of VERY professionally made documentaries by Ohrenje.

When you give it your all & leave nothing behind to achieve something you love doing then you can't ask for anything more. B-M do that with every song.🤗

Thanks for checking out our Maids! 🍺😁🤘🏻

The original 5 are in their 11th year together.

From Now On one of their 4 instrumentals will FREAKING BLOW YOUR MINDS

FYI, the song with The Warning was released this past Wednesday and is available NOW.

Great reaction guys!! They are amazing and really making a splash in the world!

Red Rose Miku, Sept. 14, 2017, interview: At the Band forming nobody in our band had done "Hard Rock" so we had started without knowing anything - we have grown greatly musically as a Band.

They usually play 20 something songs per set, at a similar intensity to this.  They don’t do encores, because their philosophy is to give their maximum effort for their fans.

This was an extra long show for their 10th anniversary tour finale, at 33 songs, ending with a tearjerker love letter song for their fans.  One they composed to sing with them.  When you get some more Band-Maid under your belt, learn some more about them, go back and check out the official live of Endless Story.

Thanks for the reaction, from a Maidiac!

I woke up at 3am to watch this concert live streamed, last November.  It was at this sort of insane level of skill and energy for near on four hours---though there are, of course, slower songs, and a great deal of diversity in their sound.  And brief intermissions, for addresses to the audience, and a film retrospective for their 10th anniversary.

I caught them live in the US, last August---and heard this same built-out version of HATE?.  This is them, what they sound like.

You would love a drum solo?  Well, we have an answer for that.  Freedom Live.

Also, for Valley, they also do acoustic versions of their song, and they're incredible.  I think you'd love them.

Discovering Band-Maid is like falling down a kaleidoscopic rabbit hole.  The band is so deep in talent, fan culture, and  humanity it’s really true, “music is in a great place right now”.   Just read about the event that was the collaboration with The Warning.  So wholesome it will give you diabetes.

Thank you for checking out our ladies! Great reaction! ♥

Okay, names, pronunciation, nicknames, and roles, in order that they joined the band.

Miku Kobato - mee-koo - Kuruppo, the Little Pigeon, the Little Engine Who Will  - band founder, backing (and occasionally lead) vocals, rhythm guitar, principal lyricist, tireless Spokespigeon and PR machine. Wielder of weapons grade cuteness. Poker shark and horse racing fanatic. So determined to see her band succeed that she fired herself as lead singer (she decided her voice wasn't strong enough for hard rock), then went looking for a replacement. Learned to play guitar after the band was formed. Definitely eccentric, possibly insane.

Kanami Tono - kah-nah-mee - Kanamincho or just Mincho - lead guitar, keyboards, principal composer and arranger. On stage, she's a savant mad riffer with a room temperature IQ and a huge crush on Saiki. In reality, she's a genius, and not just musically- she has a degree in economics with honors. A sweet, motherly woman who turns into a beast when you hand her a guitar.

Akane Hirose  - ah-kah-neh - A-chan, the Gorilla  - drums, sequencing, snacks, the leader the band doesn't have. What you see is what you get- a cheerful jock with a huge appetite who burns off the calories murdering her drums. Completely unflappable. Frequently snacks between songs. Has been known to sign her banana peels and throw them to the audience.

MISA  - mee-sah - the Barefoot Assassin,  MISA MISA MISA! - bass, booze, occasional wet work. Usually stone faced. Barely acknowledges the audience's existence. Always has a beer or a bottle of Jim Beam on her Orange amp. Originally, these were ways of coping with stage fright. These days, that's just how the assassin rolls.

Saiki Atsumi  - sah-ee-kee (but Psyche is close enough) - the Ice Queen,  Sensei, Sai-chan - lead vocals, some lyrics, the "We're done" girl. Fashionista and train nerd. Regards her band mates, especially Kanami and Miku, with bemused exasperation. In total command on stage; hides behind Miku off stage (she's actually kind of shy).

There's an amazing drum solo in their official live video for their song Freedom - since you said you wanted one 😁 Akane is their drummer and amazing isn't enough of a word to describe her. I love this band so much, all of them are absolutely masterful musicians and their music is so fun, thanks for reacting to them! ☺

Thanks for checking out BAND-MAID, we Maidiacs appreciate it. 🤘

In return, I'll go and check out Valley. I'm sure I can find them here on youtube, but you should put a link to their info/socials in the description or in a pinned comment.

Drum solo you say? Akane (Drums) did a drum solo 2 songs before Hate?, which was #27 of 33. That freestyle solo transitioned into "Blackhole," which is their most spirited prog rock song at 220bpm. I think Akane was taking a break and settling down in the pocket during Hate? To me, Akane is a World class athlete, Po! Thanks for sharing, and after doing The Warning, try Band Maid with The Warning, Po! 🦍🍌
