As someone who has worked with realism, light and shadows, I will say they are surprisingly complicated. This is a beautiful way of simplifying it and getting stunning results. Well done. And I'm borrowing this idea for those times I relax with my colouring books.

This is great! Thanks for the no-jargon, shading explanation. I think that even if I make a few mistakes with where the light goes, it’ll still read well overall. I tend to get myself turned around and confused with light sources. Probably the ADHD brain 😂
