The fact that he called her a whore in that fake suicide note.... what an utter scumbag.

the thing her family said about the glitter pens got to me. it's so easy to say, "my kid would never commit suicide!" but to instead say, "that's not how she would say goodbye" made me realize how amazing it is to be known by the ones you love

2 lives taken to protect a marriage you didn’t care about enough to stop you having an affair in the first place

It’s so terrifying that he just brutally murdered his mistress and his unborn child and he’s just so casually sitting there talking, laughing, calm as a cucumber. God almighty

The idea of a cop being "known for his chokeholds" is fucking terrifying in its own right

lol the letter ‘she’ wrote is such a great example of ‘men writing fictional women’ 😂😂😂

Love how even cops refuse a lawyer and believe they can talk themselves out of a major crime.

"How long have you known her"
"10 years"
"What is her name?"
"I have no idea..."

that letter was fkn embarrassing. he may as well have written "i was definitely not killed by ken bluew"

Her family genuinely knowing she wouldn't say bye like that is tragically beautiful.

Shoutout to Officer Tim for catching him at the scene of the crime preventing him from fleeing. I feel like that played a huge role in his conviction. And for not backing his lies 🙌🏼 Love to see good cops hold corrupt cops accountable

I cant imagine how disgustingly horrifying it must've felt in those last moments. Being choked by a man you thought you could love and depend on, knowing full well that he's not only taking your life, but your shared child's.

My goal is to be so loved and cherished by my entire social circle, that they wouldn’t accept anything less than individual “goodbye” notes done in various colours of glitter pens. That part was so awfully, horrifically sweet.

The Dreading narrator calling murderers “idiots” with obvious disdain heals my soul. 😌

I know I shouldn’t be saying this, because it shouldn’t be something to applaud. But good on that police force for not lying/covering for their officer. It should be normal but it’s not. As soon as they had a suspicion they put their hands up and gave it to another precinct. I respect it.

I can see why he was demoted from detective back to patrol.

The note he wrote is so disgusting. Literally murdering the woman wasn't enough to sate his anger; he had to try and defile her memory with those "confessions."
He's probably sitting in prison right now still blaming her for what he did.

Okay, why would you write a half decent fake suicide note and then dedicate a sizable portion of it focusing on yourself, the killer? Like dude, you are already cooked, but atleast you could have left out the "oh btw this guy I know, hes got nothing to do with this and actually hes not even the father. The father is somebody named Chris or whatever so definitely dont suspect me...I mean him".

If I ever hear someone tell me “you have the right to remain silent” no matter I’m guilty or completely innocent, I will remain silent.

"that's not a position I ever see her in" what...dead?
