On screen, he was Ip Man. Off screen, the truth was far more complicated.

Because legends are never as simple as they seem. 🥋

As someone who practiced Kendo in my student days, I find his sword-fighting style—characteristic of Chinese actors, where he twirls the katana around using only his wrists—utterly ridiculous.
He has no business sharing the same frame as Hiroyuki Sanada.
Step aside.
You are not in the same league.

The guy moved to America, got Citizenship, then disavowed it, Just to please the CCP, yet Helly-wood loves him, that speaks Volumes to me.

He was 100% correct in his opposition of the CIA instigated HK riots.

We now know the most AUTHORITARIAN country in the world is the US, not China - unfortunately. China has not fired a single bullet since 1979 and guess how many military conflicts the US was involved in since then

As a hong konger, I do not support the yellow ban protest or riots, as for the extradition law it was part of the Sino-British agreement, which was delayed by over a decade from its implementation date so the narrative that China is attack hong kong atonomy is false. Hong Kong autonomy is not complete autonomy that was never promised to Hong Kong by either the Chinese or british. This is a hard fact that you can verify on the Sino-British Agreement from the Embassy website, as it is supported by both the Chinese and British.
