@ 1:50 Crispin suggests that the RUC accommodation is much better than the what the Welsh Guards have.......well, that may be because after a few months, Crispin and his lads, can go back home again, and the RUC will have to live with the threat morning, noon and night....at work, at home and in bed.

I served with some welsh guards who were attached to us in Germany (Scots) and they were cracking lads even though you couldn,t understand the fuckers.

The Welsh Guards have always had a very unique identity, a sort of 500 strong family, and I'm pretty sure it still has it to this day...... I like that.
The Household Division has a unique identity anyway, not just because of their ceremonial duties, but I think the Welsh Guards have it to a greater extent, especially as they have the pretty fierce rivalries between North Walians and South Walians.
