I saw the star video first love these projects

I think both have their places, the potential for adding lights or making small additional decorations is pretty awesome.  If you have a family of woodworkers it would be a super cool idea to make one of these and have everyone make their own personal ornament for it!

Finally a fellow iowaian making dust on YouTube. Hey from Waterloo

i saw the tree tutorial first and then the stars...i appreciate your teaching and demonstration styles...thank you!

I love the way you did the diagonals!! Using the straight edge vs pre cutting the angles is genius! I love both trees!! Thanks for sharing Andy! Off to watch the star video!

I prefer the unpainted tree. Thank you for sharing this!!

I like both. I would make the slanted pieces a little longer and use a spacer so they have the same angle all the way up then trim the ends. Great video!

The tree video popped up first and I'm definitely going to be making this

Just came across this video, great job.  I love the larger scale of the trees.  I think I might go red stripes against the natural background.

I have to say, I like  both the painted and unpainted trees alike.

Just made both the tree and the star! Everyone that sees them fall in love! Thanks for the excellent video!!!

Actually like the painted tree matching the holidays.  Enjoyed!  Now I’ll be watching your star video.

I saw the trees first, but watched the stars first

Saw this video first then the star. Will be making one of these for my wife.

Would love to see more designs

I don’t know which tree I like best they are both beautiful!!

Hi there, beautiful tree, the red and white captures the sesson better...Take care...cheers...🍁 🍁

I love both the painted and the plain.

I love both trees, but the painted tree makes the design stand out.

I saw the trees first.  Love this video.  I am partial to the natural wood look so I have to say I like that one best but do like the painted one as well.  With the gold and red star the tree painted the gold and red might be an ok idea to try too!  Love how you made this so uncomplicated with not having to cut any specific angles...just trim up the edges after.  Genius!  Thanks for the great video.
