Agreed, Janelle was not always transparent. She did not tell the other women where Kody and Robyn were spending the money in the family pot. She did not tell Christine that she could have had more money if she had asked for it. Janelle tried to keep the peace by remaining silent.
The photo exchange is definitely a production organised meeting. I’m not mad at it! They do need to interact because they’re cast members. I want to see them interact and discuss their relationship honestly.
With the exception of Paedon, Maddie and Mykelti, Meri has strong relationships with the rest of the kids. She was the only mom to maintain great relationships with Robyn's five kids the longest too. It was fascinating to rewatch earlier episodes. Whenever the drama and chaos increased, we saw shots of Paedon, Maddie and Mykelti leaning into Meri for comfort. Mykelti said on a podcast that Christine was the mom they turned to for fun, Janelle was the mom they talked to for career advice and Meri was the mom that they turned to when they needed stability and structure. It doesn't surprise me that strong-willed Paedon, Maddie and Mykelti fought against that structure eventually. On her old podcast, Maddie explained a bit about what happened with Meri. Maddie struggled with not being treated like an adult by the moms. She was married and had a baby yet was still being treated like a child. Maddie was in Meri's LuLaRoe downline. Maddie got upset about something and Meri tried to calm her down saying 'it wasn't Maddie's fault' like she did when Maddie was a child. Then Maddie lost it. The PTSD of a dysfunctional family reared its head. Maddie has said that everyone in the Brown family needs therapy.
Janelle was all in on the family and coyote pass. The whole reason she was in the trailer was to save money to break ground in coyote pass! She really left Kody with nothing in her name which she realised was dumb in the end. Last season you could really see how disappointed she was in herself for allowing that to happen. This new property in NC means a lot to her
Am I the only one who was surprised Janelle (& I guess Maddie) built an entire house without Savanah seeing it until completion?
Also, I wonder about Janelle musing about the kids never having a home base. Wasn't that the purpose of building a 6 bedroom house in Las Vegas?? I swear she has amnesia. She chose to ignore her children's pleas to stay put.
I swore off YouTube until TODAY!! Sister Wives starts and I come running back to Tichia"s channel for her recaps! Only channel I still miss... Miss you friend 🧡
I always said that I think Kody stole all of the things Christine begged for romantically and used them to woo Robyn. He passed them off as his ideas but we know he isn't a thinker, a do"er or a creative being. Robyn thought he was was so romantic especially in the beginning but sadly, it was only because he took everything Christine was asking from him, ignored her and was secretly knocking Robyn's socks off with "his" romantic gestures. I probably won't be watching the actual show but I'll watch the content creators' reviews. Sick of them lying, and they would gain a lot of people back if they started telling the doggone truth!
Christine burned the bridge with Meri. That is why Christine is uncomfortable reaching out and meeting up with Meri again. At Kody's 'knife in the kidney' speech, Christine told both Robyn and Meri that she did not want contact with either of them. Meri respected Christine's boundary. Reflection and fence-mending are not things that Christine is good at. It's not 'fun'. Meri does not get enough credit for how she handled that meeting. Kody tried to unleash his attack dog, Meri, to eviscerate Christine. Instead, Meri didn't bite and quietly laughed at him. She was shocked, confused and had questions for Christine. She respected the boundary that Christine set.
