you truly saved me.  I was so worried about this task before I found your video.  By far the best tutorial on ANY topic I have found on YouTube.   THANK YOU!!

I like to spread the pads / push caliper pistons back to get almost all the old fluid out before startinf the fill & bleed.

Just a remark, when filling the reservoir, fill it to the same level as it was before, unless you know for sure the brake pads are new. If your brake pads are close to replacement and you fill the reservoir to max, it might be too much fluid in the system for the caliper pistons to retract.

Tip... when doing this on the front brake on a k1200rs place a coin over the return hole in the reservoir or you will spray fluid all over your screen.

I bet you have at least one friend.  ;-). Great video.  Easy to understand.

A super clear and concise description. Thanks so much for sharing. 👍🏻

Hi can you do a video on how to check the rear spline on the rear drive?
thanks

Great tutorial. I’m from Chile but live in the USA since 1989. No friends here either.

Just use a tube with a one way valve easy. *

this was helpful. it confirms how i thought it should be done. I have a 2013 R1200RT. I didn't see any videos that were specific to that model. I watched a couple on driveshaft maintenance and replacement. they were helpful even though not for my specific model.

I watched your other video where you flushed out the AbS pump 1st, then went to the calipers.
The bike that I’m flushing, does not have that style of ABS pump, the bike in this video you went and flushed them traditionally. I see that the bike has ABS, sensor wire going to the wheel. Just making sure that it gets done night. Thanks BTW 2001 R1200c

Very clear video, thanks for you efforts.

Super helpful, works exactly as you explained it. Thank you BMW Guy

👍👍👍

Great video. Keep it up and you have inspired me to buy an R1250GSA. Thumbs UP and SUBSCRIBEd.

Great job! I do t,he same job, BUT than i saw that someone bleed ABS system by OBD (GS-911) so called ABS bleeding process-first mechanically like you do (or i..), and they than bleed by OBD-the system bleeding-taht ABS system checked is there any "bulbs" in there... I have never do that... 🙂Thank you, and keep doing your videos!. Best regards

Love the videos!
I would like to see one on changing a timing chain on the F650GS twins.
Cheers

Good job. Wethead valve clearances and ABS flush please.

Thought you had to have GS911 to activate all the ABS 'whatevers' in the module?

Do you need the Hexgs911 to flush the abs unit?
