As a non-American, I find it surprising how this comment section is filled with negative comments about Tim Keller and CRT, or calling him marxist/liberal. I have been so blessed by his GOSPEL-centred teaching, and also thankful for when he brings gospel issues to our practical reality, including social injustice. It's sad that some people are so quick to put him in a political/ideological box and discredit him for speaking about Injustice from a biblical standpoint (in other sermons, books etc). Some Americans seem to politicize certain biblical principles at once, and then 'cancel' whoever they disagree with on some issue. I'm not saying Tim is right about everything, nobody is. But I have high respect and admiration for his life and ministry. God bless him

I could listen to these guys for hours.

Tim Keller's critique of the modern church "assuming Christendom" is a brilliant insight. He is so honest in saying that the church in the West is mostly just flailing around.

I love the statement Tim Keller made that Reformed Theology has the  most intense & pervasive appreciation of the Holy Spirit's work in a believers' life.  So often we are accused of "not having the Holy Spirit, particularly if we are cessationists.

I totally agree.
JESUS! Please would you give Tim a great big kiss from us...look forward to meeting him with You.
  Xxx

lovely humble men of God ..need more of these in my life

There is little or no impact Spiritually when
mans wisdom is expressed without the
conviction of sin in our unrepentant lives!

RIGHT ON DR. FERGUSON.

Great men, such great vessels to deliver Gods word, God Bless them!!

Ferguson’s replied about who should teach and not was amazing. Glory to God.

This was such an interesting conversation with a lot of depth and insight. Real humility and wisdom. Definitely worth watching more than once.

Before we are redeemed, we are in the presence of God’s wrath.  God is omnipresent. After redemption we experience His grace and forgiveness.

“Assuming Christendom” in the culture... that is what the church does.  Father give us insight into how You want to expand Your Kingdom in our culture.

Thank you. Wonderful thoughtful Sunday afternoon listening. Daune

I watch this often. Learn something new every time.

For those who want the time stamp:

1:41 It is said that theological students need to exegete the culture as well as the Scriptures. Do you agree with that, disagree with that? How would you respond?
13:38 How do we deal with America's original racism? How does that impact churches today?
19:20 What do you think is the greatest contribution reformed theology can make to our secular culture today? Why do we need reformed theology?
26:57 What do you think is the greatest temptation facing a pastor today in this global, post Christian culture we've been describing?
34:40 What is the heart of pastoral piety at its best?
42:48 What is the danger for a reformed theologian in overlooking the ministry of the Holy Spirit? Is that a danger for us? Is it a reality?
51:37 Is there any hope for a real revival?
54:54 If you could go back in time to when you were in your 30s, is there anything you would do differently with the wisdom you have now?
58:13 Would you speak about the role of woman theologians in the church, as the wives of pastors, and as singles as well?
1:04:52 What one author have you discovered in the last three years that you would recommend?
1:11:53 What are the most encouraging and discouraging aspects of the millennial generation in the church?
1:23:38 How do we care with those who have been hurt by the church, particularly on the MeToo Movement?
1:31:21 What is the main thing that limits our evangelistic efforts? And what can we do to change it?
1:37:34 What advice would you give to pastors heading to rural or suburban contexts?
1:40:35 How can the reformed church and the church in general have more unity?

This is the kind of dialogue we need today and the ability to admit one is wrong or agree to disagree. So many people have found a niche on YouTube knocking this or that and everyone is clamoring for the head of the one being criticized. I don’t necessarily like Steven Furtick but I read pro & con before making any sort of judgement and in the end, what I tell people, is don’t go to his church. Paul actually condoned teaching as long as Christ was mentioned. He attacked the theology not the person. Shalom

Thank you, excellent content.

When tim was speaking about young ministers,i like to see older ministers who have been to hell and survived, they have wisdom where the young ones talk a good talk.

I like it so much
