Happy 60 th Anniversary Thunderbirds

Happy 60 years young to Thunderbirds - Chris is wearing Jamie's badge! 😂  - F.A.B 🎉

5, 4, 3, 2, 1! THUNDERBIRDS ARE 60! FAB!❤❤❤

I don't know if this was intentional, but this episode being 50 minutes long is iconic to me. Well done! Happy 60th!

Jamie said something that was spot on - "Many happy tears of nostalgia were shed". So true!!

Amazing how the Randomizer came up with that result!! LOL

Happy Thunderbirds Day!

Had the pleasure of seeing the cinema release yesterday and a lovely chat with Wayne Forester afterwards. It's a small world 🤣

I was there in ‘65! It was my favourite by a mile so Happy 60th indeed 🎉 I’m planning to visit the Museum later this month, shame I missed Gerry’s stuff though …

Explody/Bang😅....what would Thunderbirds be with out them.....thanks dear friends for sharing memories and other stuff from this exceptional Show.....Happy almost 60th Anniversary......looking forward to these Blu-ray set.....🏝🏝🏝🚀🏝🏝🏝

Happy 60th anniversary of Thunderbirds to all! My earliest memories of watching Thunderbirds was on the old Carlton videos back in the 2000s. There were 16 volumes and two episodes on each. I never had the ones with four episodes on them. I even had “The Brains Behind Thunderbirds” video as well! I also remember having the three original Thunderbirds compilation fiIms, too. I also had the Soundtech Thunderbirds 1, 2 & 3 with Thunderbird 4, the Mole and the Firefly! I had all four Thunderbirds Annuals from 2001-2004. I vividly remember having the four Thunderbirds novels; four episodes of the television series adapted into novelisations. I even had several issues of Thunderbirds Fleetway Comics from the 90s & most of Thunderbirds Redan comics from the 2000s! Finally, I remember getting a Tracy Island for my sixth or seventh birthday! Sadly, I have none of that stuff now. Presently, I’ve had Thunderbirds on DVD box-set for many, many years but I’m finally going to get it replaced with the new, upcoming Thunderbirds Blu Ray box-set! I still have several things like The Complete Book Of Thunderbirds & the Thunderbirds Haynes Manual (2015 edition), the Thunderbirds 1965 DVD (which I acquired on EBay back in 2017) and both Thunderbirds feature films on DVD box-set. I also have the Thunderbirds prop replica raygun (the very first item I bought from the Gerry Anderson Store), the Thunderbirds 50th anniversary original television soundtrack, the “Thunderbirds Are Go” novel from 1966 and finally, 17 Thunderbirds autograph cards (8 from 2001 & 9 from 2015). As well as the new blu ray, I’m also looking forward to the first two Thunderbirds Comic Anthologys, The Thunderbirds International Rescue Technical Operations Manual & the Corgi Thunderbird 4! Thunderbirds is my favourite TV series and has been such a big part of my life since childhood! My favourite craft is Thunderbird 2 & my favourite character is Scott Tracy! As for my favourite episode, I don’t have one! I think they’re all great! In my opinion, Thunderbirds are and always will be GO! FAB!

Just watching this now, grew up watching the VHS tapes and I remember the reruns on bbc2 after Lois and Clark, pre ordered the new Blu-ray as a birthday present for myself come December 👍

I went to the exhibition this past Saturday - it was BRILLIANT!!

I didn't know that two different companies released a Tracy Island Play Set, but a few years apart.

I have a distant memory of a xmas in the 60's where I had this weird Commander Shore glove puppet. I have NEVER seen another one since then and decided I must have imagined it...not any more! There was one in the Stingray collection at The Museum of Brands...still in its box! I wouldn't be surprised if that's one of the rarest items.

Peter Jackson has the full original puppet set from Thunderbirds 😀

beard looks good on ya !!

Podcast 368 part 1. My earliest memories of Thunderbirds was buying some lovely plastic toys of the Thunderbird craft made by pedigree toys I think and doing a Derek Meddings on them and blowing them up with fireworks in the back garden! Probably why l have no toys left from my childhood and are buying up the excellent collectibles now! Fireworks not included 😂

I hope the news of Thunderbirds Technical Operation Manual.

The last audio for Thunderbirds that I’m aware of is Danger and Deception - which I had to get the download from Big Finish because the digital version wasn’t available on the Anderson Entertainment website 🤷‍♀️

It was nice to see the original comics for three of the stories in that particular set, along with two others, in the first comics anthology, and I’m looking forward to seeing the rest, as well as the new Thunderbirds material you have coming out in next few months.

(My purse isn’t though 🤪)
