My well has been dry for most of the summer. Water has to be lugged, lifted and heated on the stove. I can and preserve food the old fashioned way. Now it's fall and the woodstove needs to be tended for heat. I do, thankfully, have electricity but if the price keeps going up, that will stop.
I've taught my daughter and grand children how to live with out the modern " conveniences". Looks like some of us are ok even in today's crazy world.
