THEY SACRIFICED A WHOLE CITY TO SAVE PLANET FROM EXTINCTION! | ACTION MOVIE

This 2002 sci-fi disaster action thriller centers on a cataclysmic global crisis triggered when subterranean nuclear accidents cause massive tectonic shifts under the Pacific Ocean. As temperatures rapidly surge toward fatal levels, the planet faces complete destruction within three days unless the impending doom is halted. In response, the nation's leader appoints a disgraced military officer to assemble an elite team of scientists for a desperate, high-stakes mission. Their reckless strategy involves detonating thermonuclear warheads deep within the Los Angeles subway system to realign the tectonic plates. While racing against time to save his kidnapped daughter and fight off a traitorous operative within the intelligence services, the commander executes the plan, sacrificing the city to save the rest of humanity from total extinction.
