I'm currently in the processing studying to re-take my MCAT and reapply to medical school for the third time in May, and I am so encouraged by your video. When I applied the second time, I felt that God would open the door for me because I knew I was being obedient to him. So when I was rejected from a school I had interviewed at twice (lol) I was so confused and frustrated. Through prayer, I realized that he had other plans in store and had he not spurred me to reapply in the fall I may not have gotten the motivation to re-take my MCAT and provide a better application this next time around. Often we don't know what God's plan is during the moment, but I can't wait for that "ahah" moment when I finally understand. So excited for you and can't wait to continue supporting you through this journey! :)

I love everything about this video!! Your personality is great and I relate to your journey so much. I was a high GPA student and had a hard time adjusting in undergrad as well, in which my GPA took a hit. But God turned it around and I just got accepted into an Ivy League Vet School (after getting rejected last year).

This is amazing! I am on a similar path as you. After getting rejected from medical school, I am currently doing my Masters and awaiting a response from an interview at a medical school. As tough as the journey has been, I have grown soooo much closer to God, so no regrets! Can't wait to hear more about your medical school journey and your journey with God.

Being a physician is valiant at its core but it has become increasingly more business oriented instead of patient oriented. I worked as a physician for 10+ years and saw colleagues lives fall apart after getting into this with unrealistic expectations. I am sure you have seen physicians that are content with their careers, but medicine is increasingly becoming more business oriented and inevitably I hope you can be the change.
