It's an absolute pleasure listening to you gentlemen talk about the golden days of wrestling and life really.

The SHEIK was ALWAYS ONE of MY FAVORITES as a kid ! He was LEBANESE LIKE ME !

Having territories were the best years of wrestling

I still have my body presses that I bought as a kid.

I was there. Every weekend at Cobo. Still have an old program.

Dave Drayson is great,  a wrestling encyclopedia

These are the best stories ever ! How I miss the Territories of Pro Wrestling! Great Times !

Lots of great memories.  Thanks gentlemen!

Great livestream, fellas!

Keep the stories alive!!!

I was 16 and turned 17 on the 30th. My dad had taken us fishing at Grass Lake, off IH94 about 1 hour and 10 minutes from Ecorse, where we lived. We saw tons of Michigan Troopers in their Blue Bubble Gum cars going towards Detroit.
We had no clue what was going on, but all of us wondered what was happening. Later that evening, we went to the Kingdom Hall for Jehovah's Witnesses, as most of our family weree of that religion. I happened to be the Spanish Congregation on Springwells Ave.
About 15 minutes in, the Detroit Police informed us to leave, be very careful and go directly home. That's where we found out about the riots.
My Dad and Mom loved going to Cobo Hall for the wrestling and took us often. The Sheik was always my favorite as he was out of control all the time, yelling and pointing up at the lights. Wild Bull Curry was another favorite.
Question ??? Wild Bull Curry was on a Tag Team, then fought his partner in a match. I can't remember his partner, but they fought to a bloody ending. Does anyone remember his tag team partner?

Remember the beginning of the riot in Detroit.  My family from Southwestern VA had gone on vacation in Detroit and were there when the riot started.

Great episode fellas ❤

I saw the Sheik in Indy.

Luv

I never knew Mickey Doyle was one of the Kangaroos.

I read the magazines and being in the Buffalo , Toronto area , in the early 70's .The only reason I knew the Funks and the Von Erichs was because ,of the magazines .

Where was Andrea Dubin sitting?

Guy's like the shiek and abdullah were the reason everyone knew wrestling was fake.
