something I just remembered. On a run I did ages ago, I captured a couple fireflights and placed them on my base, so even if its night time I'm able to turn on the fireplace, or run like a fool until daylight XD

the contrast of the first few days which is hectic and stressful vs the last few days which is just mini golf is hilarious! i’m so proud of you for making it through 100 days hopefully you will make another run or continue with this run soon.

being able to change your character is actually pretty useful, but mostly for long time players who know many characters very well, and know certain strats you can do by swapping between them. I dont blame you for thinking that is useless at this point

edit- deerclop 'only' has around I think a 75% ish percent chance to spawn. You can, however, spawn her manually with something called a Hostile Flare (in the winter). You need glommers goop for it. It can spawn things other than Deerclops so be prepared

A few tips:
- playing it slow isn't always a good idea, when it comes to Deerclops, she has a huge sanity drain, the longer you take to fight, the more sanity you'll lose and things will spiral as nightmare creatures will spawn, and this is compounded by the fact you're holding a dark sword so much (drains 20 sanity a minute), ideally you should always unequip the dark sword anytime you're not attacking. To fight Deerclops easily, just make a normal campfire at max heat, eat a moose idol, and keep pressing F next to the campfire, you'll annihilate Deerclops, whereas spamming charges is extremely inefficient.
- Woodie's forms last a certain amount of time and will quickly stop if you don't do what the form likes to do, fighting for the moose, running for the goose, chopping/mining for the beaver. If you eat an idol right before the full moon, you won't get randomly transformed, you'll just get your transformation timer filled up to full again
- Seriously, don't be scared to tank with the moose, especially if you took the useful path in the skilltree, you have an innate 90% armor and do massive damage, plus you regen HP

Toadstool litteraly on the same screen of a cave entrance?? Absolutely insane world generation

Play Winona next, she's awesome

13:55 Lighting the trees on fire for light when you’re fighting at night is such a pro dst move. Coming from someone who is a dst veteran, you’re doing amazing!

I told you he would be your favorite, you learned so much on this run! Change character, shadow Chester, life giving amulests, etc! Pretty good gebbu! It was also cool seeing you use the scrapbook! Is basically the in game wiki :) I think you will also like Walter, bit the one I really want you to play is my main Wendy, it would be nice to see you having an easier time for once, and she is just broken op hehe

Also, editing is FIRE! I love how you build your videos

Glad to see despite all the danger, you still choose to partake in mid summer crawnival

The editing is so well done

when fighting bosses or any one enemy at a time, just press f to attack as a Weremoose does so much more damage than charging, and u definitely could have taken the deerclop by only pressing that single key and do nothing else (not as easy for some other bosses tho)

the game starting immediately with toadstool made me laugh so hard lmao !!! you have somes of the craziest world generations xD
GG for deerclops :D you did amazing with the amulets ! you even got to explore more of the caves :D
the cawnival is such a nice event ! always fun to play !
the end isn''t anticlimactic ;3 it shows how you knew you had other options !
if you find the terrarium, it will give you something you can fight at times like this when you have nothing else to fight haha xD
congrats on the 100 days it was amazing to watch :D !

Lucy does less damage than a regular axe, never use it for combat

your content is so good

Its lovely to see the art you draw for the thumbnail

Shes so mean for not showin up!!! But great video :3 im excited for a warly run or a wigfrid run with how much gebs has a murderous spree sometimes hehe

omg jumping into the world and immediatly going on a murder rampage! this brought a tear to my eye, you went so far and doing so well, i am happy for you! ^^
you're keeping your cool in so many stressful situations it is ever so impressive, it needs that to repel dogs and shadow monsters and Deerclops!
and mama that Toadstool spawn directly at the cave entrance! all bosses speedrunners would sell their souls for a seed like that! xD

you held your ground for so long against the clops, for a first timer you're having very good reflexes! and very good ideas to use your gems for life amulets! it's too bad that the spiders ate her meat and eye after her death, and yeah, the dark sword is one of the best weapons in the game, but like you said it wasn't helping with your sanity xD and it was also almost nullifying your sanity regain after slaying shadow creatures with it. add to this that deerclops is the monster that drains your sanity the fastest when you're close to her and it was the combo of doom where you couldn't possibly get rid of the shadow creatures while fighting her xD
one day you will master the moose and get the eyebrella for spring!
you are right that the hambat would have been more safe and consistant, but you totally can beat deerclops with a dark sword! they're cool as hell so that alone is a good reason to use them uwu. you would just need to prepare for the sanity danger with a top hat and sanity food to counter her negative aura the longest possible.
of all the characters, maxwell is the best darksword user because of his massive sanity stat and he gains bonuses when using dark magic. whenever i want to play brain dead with the occult arts, he is the character i go to xD

aaaah yes, welcome to one of the joys of spring, it is rare, but when it happens it is every survivor for themselves, because the frog rain is the strongest thing in all dst.
spring looked so painful for you, even more than webber who was already very vulnerable to sanity drain and wetness. but you prevailed! you didn't give up and used your amulet to get to the next season!

you befriended antlion yey <3 she is so cute i love her. indeed antlion likes rocks, and feeding them to her will postpone her sinkholes tantrums. one day maybe you will find more about her ;)
and it was so cool to see you explore more of the caves! it is a very dangerous place, but so thrilling to adventure!
the rock lobsters you found are very good bodyguards to have. they're slow af but they tank and hit like actual trucks!

it is good to take breaks every now and then! it is nice to see you having fun with the midsummer cawnival ^^ it brings some confort in this survival world, and gambling addiction xD.
it's too bad deerclops didn't show next winter, i would have loved to the see the improved M.O.O.S.E Operation!
eager to see the next adventure in dst or in another game ^^ solo and with your friends!

Hahaha that was a fun video, congrats on 100 days as Woody!!! :D I'm glad you made it this time! Looking forward to the twitch stream yippie!!!

Great content, but idk if its just me but the music is a little loud compared to your voice. Otherwise nice work dude
