Nah the character they did the most dirty is Marcus.  Bringing back the stat penalty years later for literally no reason is awful.  Marcus deserved better.

Oh, Brave Baldr...  She was supposed to make the weapon triangle relevant again, then she lost to EMBLEM CORRIN.  That was when I knew she was done...
I would suggest giving her Execution Breath, if it was available.  Still exclusive to Harmonic Lyn, who unlike Ike is not in the Divine Codes. 😭
The other thing is that her pref A skill locks her Canto into Remain, min. 1.  Ranged fliers REALLY want that Canto 2 from Airspace...
Also, having a Style interferes with Lyn ring, which, ranged flier with Miasma would REALLY like to be using for terrain control.

One thing I've learned over the years as a Book 1 player is to not go all in on Brave merges on the initial drop. Pretty much every FEHtuber said Baldr was the best and Byleth was the worst, when she fell off in 2 weeks and Byleth is still on a lot of meta AR-D teams (granted with updated skills).

I think Brave Baldr did what she was supposed to: kill BK, every player knew she had the shortest shelf life of this batch, to this problem she had the upside of coming with ironically the best aging fodder of the group: Archrival, thus giving her a second life as fodder.

I would argue Brave Sharena disappointed the most from this group, I do remember she being the most hyped brave before the banner dropped due to Feh singing her praises during the feh channel because of how long her skill description was, she entered in a meta the Eirika Ring was everywhere so her miracle niche was a joke, she wasn't DOA because of her support but she herself wasn't pulling her own weight and her fodder is too niche without an outstanding skill, then to add salt to the wound, just a couple of months later IS released a better Brave Sharena in Entwined Sharena, being melee gave her access to better skills and easier matchups, the only positive in her brave version had is having access to Lyn's ring but that's hardly an upside when she can barely kill units.

Another really lackluster release I'm surprised isn't here is Legendary Diamant, just this arena week he reminded me(us) how mid he truly is, to add salt to injury this clown replaced a much better unit in LSakura in the arena rotation, so yeah he sucks a lot.

Sombron is good when you change his b to patience and special to armor flare, and of course rise above 4, these make him so much better
Even dragon briar is great for him, having him at +6, im hoping to +10 him by the end of the year

Could've sworn s lot of players said B!Baldr would age the fastest. Not surprising to see her on the list.

I suspect B!Peony was a “fixed” H!Peony, not one that was intentionally held back. IS likely saw the mistake later.

As if to be one last slap to the face to Harmonic B!Hector he did not get null armor effectiveness built in his kit, which was a major highlight of normal B!Hector’s reign of terror when he got that refine

Sombron was a perfect fodder for my newly +10'd fell M!Grima, he's kinda cooking now

Watching this video, I really felt the importance of opportunity cost in turn based RPGs, and how so many units on this list/HM make complete sense to be on this list, even if i use them a lot and don't feel like they are bad at all(especially Brave Baldr, Emblem Byleth). The meta now allows more units to do well than ever thanks to all the effects and fodder, but it's also so much more competitive than before that new units are more prone to have a very short shelf life. Back then a great unit could stay for years. Now, a great unit would be lucky if it can stay for longer than 2 months.

I'm really hoping they Brave Azura and Brave Tsubasa justice, and I'm praying to the FEH gods that I won't be seeing those 2 on this list next year 🙏

Top disappointment for me was Harmonic Arena Fir. Baby Camilla was dominant at this time, and now here was a unit that had the promise even more damage. Plus Best Girl Fir is one of my favorites. I couldn't wait.

But they made her a cav. And then released Emblem Corrin...so she couldn't actually be used since ice was everywhere. They also released Air Superiority and started giving units Pass so they could get over the ice. But not Fir. 3 range style was also getting handed out. But not to Fir.

Intsys literally released the highest damage unit in the game, and simultaneously nerfed her into the ground so she was impossible to use. I literally had to run Celica ring and Pass in her B slot just to make her usable.

Side note: I loved Halloween Peony. I used her a ton when she released. BK had fallen off and wasn't safe to run anymore, so Peony helped fill the gap.

Well this weird. I was searching for Arknights reaction content and the first video featured for today was this. 😅

I would put like in a 10-6 place Ascended or whatever was called Alfonse. He came pretty much out of nowhere and didn't make a difference at all

Calling Emblem Byleth a disappointment like he didn't bring with him the most broken ring in all of FEH that invalidated dancers for the foreseeable future is one of the worst takes I've heard in my life. 😂

Yeah, as a unit, he's whatever now, but that's quite literally true about basically every Emblem unit. Literally all of them are mediocre to downright bad except for Roy.

Was worried that the emblem effect would be overlooked when talking about the emblem heroes, I will be fair, I just generally don't use the emblem heroes in any map, so their value to me has always been where I could throw the emblem effect at.

2nd place, might have been hyped up and speculated on, heavily, I actually use the unit because of the amount of area denial that currently seems to be overflowing, and him going in and countering it mid-turn is so valuable to me.
1st place kinda surprises me, seeing as I still use it as my primary ranged attacker, especially with the amount of Burger Kings that were around at the time, and the unit is more or less a straight up counter, and many ranged units before and since has had a big problem with Burger King. While the use of Burger King might be waning, and there are new things that attackers need to handle, I still see him fairly often.

10:37 Top 10 times actors weren't acting

My warmaster ignatz on maddening was cracked, but feh did him SO bad by recycling his weapon 2 times

No joke brave baldr is still holding up especially in arena and aether raids defense. But yeah range and movement is definitely king in feh. I’d say her best bud is chosen laegjarn to get rid of ice and legendary Sakura for ensured canto while taking her c skill from her summer version for ensured movement in case they have stall.

My main theory was that they waited with Sombron for a while to give him some sort of disengage effect, since he had that in Engage, and it would fit him to do something like that in Heroes.
I also don't like his style, a big ranged laser attack should do damage on attack and not only after the attack. Also possible to bait him (without warp) so that he cannot even use it before you attack him.

I do think B!Baldr was very good at release, maybe a little too good if you see how she fell. Her alt also did not help, and ranged flyers often don't get enough good stuff

A lot of my favorites got shafted but that how fast the meta changes, and a lot of the time the gimmick only get you so far but they are still my favorites and they can work like Hector and byleth
