I just want to thank those of you who have the patience to sit through this long ass video lol.. I didn't intend for it to be this long, but as often is the case i kind of got carried away - my original cut of this thing was close to an hour, so i tried to trim as much fat off as i could, so a lot of the finer details i wanted to dive into on the certain films got left on the cutting room floor... but i'll leave those for future videos ;)

hope you enjoy 🤘

H20 at 10 is wild. Its one of my favorites.

You talked about showing love for Season of the Witch. My parents recorded it on VHS on Halloween in 1986 i think, i was 6 and for about 4 or 5 years it was my favourite film, i watched it at least three times a week. I still love it now, but in recent years it has dropped a few places as i've grown to love a few of the others in the series.

Halloween (2018) is my favorite from this franchise. Its the very first Halloween movie I ever saw and saw in theaters, the acting performances are great, the story/plot,  the score, the climax and kills. You can tell alot of time, effort and care was put into this film.  It gets a 7.5 out of 10 for me. But the original will always be the greatest movie from this franchise and one of the best horror movies ever.

You deserve much more views & recognition! Just recently found your channel and subbed right away. Absolutely love your content 🤘🔥 keep it up !!

Totally agree! The original is my favorite and always will be! Still terrifies me

Excellent ranking mate I’ve been watching for quite a bit now and think your content is superb.Great ranking👍

This is a very entertaining and well thought out video. And I agree with most of your takes.

Thanks for this.
We need another ranking since Halloween kills came out….

Halloween series ranked!
————————————————————————————
(Warning: my list is extremely unique and weird to most Halloween fans, please respect my opinions and try to leave nice reply’s)
———————————————————————-
12. ‘Hallloween: ‘The Revenge Of Michael Myers’ (1989)

(The only one in the series I never really got into, I really love all the stuff with Dr. Loomis & Michael, but this one completely takes a different turn in what the ending of Halloween 4 was trying to make it out to be.)

———————————————————————-
11. ‘Halloween Resurrection’ (2002)

The opening to this scene is insulting, especially after you watch Halloween H20, they make it to where it didn’t even matter. But the fun aspect if you just skip past that part and watch the rest keep this from my worst one in the series.)
———————————————————————-
10. ‘Halloween 6: The Curse Of Michael Myers’ (1995)

(Nice concept but incompleted story line, love Dr. Loomis’s performance and I love how Beth is played by: ‘Mariah O'Brien.’ I love her performance, she’s the girl on the cover of the album: ‘Dirt’ (1992) by one of my favorite bands of all time: ‘Alice In Chains.’

————————————————————————
9. ‘Halloween 4: ‘The Return of Michael Myers’ (1988)

(This is a fun one to watch in the series but it leads to 5 & 6 which we’re not that good in my opinion.)

———————————————————————-
8. ‘Halloween Kills’ (2021)

(Holy Shit, the gore in the movie was UNBELIEVABLE, this is the goriest Halloween movie along with: ‘Rob Zombie’s Halloween 2’ I mean DAMN. But anyway, it felt so bad@$$ in this film the way the suspense came about and that Suicide scene…. Man that was uncomfortable. I think this is the most  philosophical Halloween movie in the series. The ending is SO awesome, I can’t wait till ‘Halloween: Ends’ in 2022. It’s not a bad film I’d say.)

———————————————————————-
7. Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later’ (1998)

(Jamie Lee Curtis portrayal of  Laurie Strode is SO BAD@$$ up until that final moment when she cut off his head. People were clapping back in 1998 when they first saw that in the theater. It was amazing. I really hope she becomes this badass in Halloween End’s in 2022.)

———————————————————————-
6. ‘Halloween Returns’ (2018)

(This one took a while for me to grow up too, but I actually really think it’s one of the best Halloween Sequels along with the original ‘Halloween 2’ and Halloween H20.)

———————————————————————-
5. ‘Halloween 3: Season Of The Witch’ (1982)

(Now this one is SOOO underrated even to this day, it legit feels like a late1970’s/early1980’s horror film directed by John Carpenter and Debra Hill in the same vein as the original Halloween, the musical score just SCREAM’S John Carpenter to me, and the old cheesy 1970’s/1980’s feel to it totally brings me back and it’s so entertaining to watch. Plus the concept they used to me is extremely original and creepy.)

———————————————————————-
4. ‘Halloween II’ (1981)

(Okay so this one, I’d put right there beside the original cause this film along with the original 1978 Halloween feel like the exact same movie with just a little more gore envolved. Plus it ended the series officially with Michael Myers & Dr. Loomis dying in the explosion at the end and Laurie Strode Surviving.)

———————————————————————-
3. ‘Rob Zombie Halloween’ (2007)

(I’m actually a big fan of Rob Zombie Halloween series and it’s universe, I like how he went to show Michael Myers childhood and it kinda really doesn’t explain really why he becomes this unstoppable killer nor does it keep it mysterious, it falls in the middle,  The first 30 minutes of the film are pretty uncomfortable to watch especially if your watching with a bunch of people. Plus it gets pretty depressing by the time Deborah Myers (Michael Myers Mother) kills herself with a hand-gun. But from the moment Michael Myers breaks out and kills Danny Trejo’s character till the very end,, it gets so entertaining to watch, it gives me that entertaining vibe of what the original John Carpenter classic had. Scout Taylor Compton is my crush <3 🥰 she did a really good job of acting in this movie and I will defend her when people say she’s a terrible actress. But anyway I really enjoyed this one, The Rob Zombies Halloween movies were my shit back in when I was in like 8th grade, to me they are almost as good as the original to be honest, but you can’t beat the classics. :)

2.  ‘Rob Zombie’s Halloween II’ (2009)

(Okay, now I know EVERYONE is gonna hate on me for putting this up at number 2 on this list, but I don’t care. This movie is SOO underrated to me. It feels so much more entertaining to watch than the first Rob Zombie Halloween film. Scout  Taylor Compton does a PHENOMENAL job of acting, especially when she reads Sam Loomis’s  novel and finds Annie’s dead body on the floor. I don’t like how Loomis is out of character though, but the extremely vulgar language in the beginning of the first Rob Zombie film, is not completely there in this film and I feel like most people can get around it. The music, even though it wasn’t the traditional Halloween score felt so creepy yet suspenseful. Michael Myers feels like a cold blooded monster in the film, the way he looks with his mask off and the way he grunts. 😬 Also I never really had a problem with Michael Myer’s Ghost Mother. It felt really new and fresh for the series and it kept me on my seat till the end.)

1. ‘Halloween’ (1978)

(What can I say, this is the movie that is the immoral classic of the Halloween season, it started up the slasher genre in the 1970’s and beyond, it’s so entertaining to watch with the classic 1970’s vibe, the suspense, everything.).

love this channel you got a new sub

Love the video man, can tell your passion for it. Keep up the grind.

Great Video! I Fully Agree that Halloween (1978) is The Best!

WOW! Amazing Intro, Great Video man! :D

I love your videos

Hey man! I enjoyed your ranking. I have a question. Will you ever rank the Child's Play franchise?

I really liked the Dr. from Halloween 2018 as well, very interesting and a unique left turn. I am a big fan of h20 however and would rank it much higher. fun video thanks man

Nothing tops the original. Just gave it a rewatching through fresh eyes and it’s not only the greatest slasher ever but it’s one of best of the 70’s

Very well made video, brother. Keep it up! 🤘💀🔥

I'm glad I found someone else who isn't a fan of H20. I also loved Dr. Sartain aswell. Great list
