Today I'm showing you how to run a functional doctor’s office in the Sims 4. I’ll be showing you two ways to set it up; first using some amazing mods that makes this more realistic. And without mods as well for those of you who don't use them.

At 7:50, this is unrealistic. In the U.S., you would need to ask, "Do you have insurance? No? That'll be 824 (not 168) simoleons. Can't afford it? Get out!" But in the rest of the world, it's spot-on.

This is another great and super helpful video! I considered downloading the Private Practice mod from SimRealist when I started with my doctor, but decided to do things more like your unmodded version just for simplicity. I have my doctor teach a lot of herbalism and wellness. One mod I really recommend for the herbalism skill is LittleMsSam's No Insects as Ingredients mod. It uses different plants for the recipes, like replacing the bee and will-o-the-wisp for the fertility elixir with a rose and an orchid.

I’m so invested in this gameplay! I’m a gamer so it’s like you added “rpg” elements to a life sim! Love it! I turned Skyrim into a life sim with dragons lol

Simsonian Library has a mod called Apothecary Kit to craft medicine as well it goes with a Pharmacology skill and a lot of treatment options. Also any chances you'll make the same type of video for elementary school you've mentioned before?

The Get To Work EP comes with a hospital.
And the hospital objects can be used to build a playable hospital lot.
But I can set the hospital lot as a vet clinic [part of the Cats & Dogs EP].
My Sim will work all the way up the Medicine career track first, of course, then make a ton of $$$, then use the $$$ to invest in a hospital that will serve Sims and Pets.

I've gotten really invested in this challenge (thanks so much for sharing it with us). I rolled for 5 founder Sims and one of them is going to become the town's doctor. I do use mods and I love Pandasama's Childbirth mod. I was wondering if it's possible to do some of the animations that came with the Dr. career in Get To Work? I'm thinking of when they take the patients temperature and check their ears, etc. I guess you would need to have the task list to be able to do those things. Just a thought. Great video - love all your ideas. I'm also thinking of making use of the new apothecary skill but since I just purchased the expansion, I don't know much about it yet. Lots to learn!

Another fun no-Mods thing to do here as well (if you have Enchanted by Nature) is to work as Naturopath. You would have to live in an apartment above maybe. But people will come to have their ailments cured. Also you have the task of making elixirs with the apothecary table and you can sell those.

A second idea. A more delusional one 😂. You can give tattoos as the doctor. But customers will come to you in a small business and ask for a tattoo. Then you and the customers are busy and interacting with the tattoo table like getting a “check up”.

Hi can you please do this but with the Club & Business Activity Expanded by REX/Kuttoe. He added seek medical help, and treat patient interactions functionality for hospital items on residential/small businesses. But for the life of me i cant figure it out! If you could post a video about it, it would be a big help Ty!
