Hi everyone! Thank you so much for all your comments and opinions on the last lap incident. It was great to get so many different viewpoints, both for and against.

I was cleared by the stewards, who ruled it a racing incident with no further action required. I thought (hoped) that would be the case, but could certainly see it going against me — particularly because I was on the verge of losing control myself after clipping the grass.

Whenever I analyse incidents, I try to go as far back as possible to find the root cause. And this one was definitely due to both guys in front making individual mistakes and running off track. I was the only one of the three not to make a mistake!

Contact somewhere was inevitable, really. It’s the last lap, we’re all going for it. Two cars on the grass, one slides back on out of control, the other rejoins under control. I have to try and avoid everything. There was a lot going on there!

Nice to see you back on LFM Chris. ACC is still providing us with amazing races, I think people decided to abandon it too fast. I'm happy to see you taking risks and not just driving passively. In the end it comes down to consistency, smart racing and making less mistakes than the opponents. Keep it up and see you on the track!

Chris mate your content gets better and better don't know how you do it thank you once again for brightening my day, no blame on you at all he's lucky not to spin out on the grass you could of not anticipated his rejoin he lost his cool there and should of backed off and snuck in behind you but its the last lap and people do strange things.

Thanks for taking the time to produce really entertaining content, Chris. This "episode" reminds us all that this pastime of ours can be a heartbreaker sometimes. Even on the good days. I'm surprised you're still racing on ACC. I got a new computer in December and didn't bother to install it. I didn't like the feel anymore. My all-time favourite sim is still the original Assetto Corsa. You're still my favourite content creator. Cheers!

You´r a really good driver. The fact that you do so much to try and avoid contact with others, putting ur self on grass for that matter just goes to show how far you go to keep your driving clean. Great racing m8 and cheers for the ruling in ur favor :-)

Definitely a racing incident.  As you said Chris, you're the only one that didn't do a little lawn-mowimg in that incident.

Thank you Chris for this video. I have just started to race on LFM and didn't expect to see my car on a YT video 😅 (slower BMW behind you in 2nd race). This vid will be a very good memory for me. Your commentary during the races is awesome!
