Lots of high value vintage collectable possessions there. You showed off your camera in the mirror. I took a screen shot, cropped it with Windows paint, then adjusted the brightnes with Elements of Photoshop, and then finally used Google image search to identify it, a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra with a hefty looking gimbal. Both of these require a deep pocket to purchase, but they explain the excellent technical quality of the video.

Loads of unusual interesting items, just baffles me why they are left so wonder if any family at all? Such a shame. Love this house, I have seen the design before of the arty t.pots. that jag engine is so clean another shame it can't be restored. Thankyou guys another fab find 💕

Just checked on Vehicle Score, the Jag had done less than 20,000 miles from new with an average of only 800+ miles a year and last MOT in 2013. What a waste, it is a shame that there aren’t any relatives to pass all this on. Great find guys, see you next week. Cheers Dave from Worcester

Fantastic ! a house with so many memories . The posters were truly breath taking , the one with CN rail was special as they run through the center of the town where I live . The upstairs bathroom made me yell out 10 out of 10 , it was a stunner but there was so much amazing articles it was hard to keep up . Thank you Alex and Eddy ( Pompeye ) for a most enjoyable presentation . Every week your explores are the high lite of my entertainment , Cant say enough , God Bless , take care and be well , Stuart in Canada ..

Such a nice looking house someone needs rescue this place before mold and rot settles in .

It's crazy that this place hasn't been robbed of all the valuables

If someone is getting on a bit and they don't have kids or close family, it only takes the death of a partner, and things can desend rapidly. The owner might be in a nearby nursing home with dementia.  I don't know what happens then, they must have the family solicitors who would be entrusted to look after their client'  affairs, including securing the house.
But, they might not. All I know is that property, it doesn't matter what it is, is always owned by someone!
Many years ago in the eighties, I used to do a few odd jobs for an elderly couple who owned an old hotel in Mid-cornwall. They closed the hotel in the 60s but, they continued to live in it. I asked them why they closed it, and they said that they just couldn't be bothered to run it anymore, and were not interested in selling it. Looking around the ex-hotel was amazing, it was just a time capsule, like they just stopped, and that was that. I heard that sometime in the nineties, the lady died, leaving him all alone. Eventually, he went missing, but was found a few weeks later in the big garden, dead. The house was sold and chopped-up and striped of the fixtures and fittings. I found it all very sad, they were nice people, but seemed to be contented living  quite an  isolated life.
The house was near Blisland on the edge of Bodmin Moor. The house was called, if my memory serves me correctly, Tregaddick.

The connections to Scotland is the oil rigs in Aberdeen

I did some detective work on this owner from the photos, documents showing his name and employment history as seen on another YT channel (BeardedReality). His LinkedIn account shows he's alive and well (and it's 100% the same man). So I'm guessing he left this house in around 2015 due to some kind of family breakdown or tragedy and he mentally boxed it off, thinking he'd get round to selling it one day but some kind of emotional barrier kicked in.

what a lovely Jag. I've always really liked those models. Just left to rot. I must admit i do agree that things seem to have gone down the tubes since Covid!!

I want so badly to "rescue" the two red chairs on cushions!

Evening All, good afternoon from the west coast of the States. Thank you guys, best wishes... Howdy all... ~Jekyll 🎩

"That's all oil"

Keep up Pops

Nice fine beautiful home thanks for sharing❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊

I would love to own this house, its a pity I live in Australia, I wouldn't even change the decor. The previous owner had great taste. Thanks for the explore guys, it was fantastic. I really want the big british dog but.

Hi guys. Fantastic place loving all the retro furniture posters every think about this you would have to dragged me out of there kicking and screaming would off been there for hours brilliant guys ❤😎👍

That was fantastic guys. So much wealth still left in that home. Such a waste of a beautiful Jag. Great tour.

It was just gonna be a matter of time until I heard Alex say "There's the ball bag", but I always thought it was gonna be Ed trying to climb through a window in shorts............

Fab find fellas! It boggles the mind that people with so much property and money dont at LEAST arrange a trust/trustee to manage their estate after they pass. Like Alex said, it will end with a bulldozer and a tiff. Or, who knows. I guess these places can be caught up in a court battle? It's such a shame. Watching from the Missouri Ozarks. Thanks for the explore!
