When the said “the McDonald’s of cinema” it got me thinking that all media has essentially become fast food. Music, movies, series, social media… all of it. It’s all McDonald’s.

Sony should have hired Madam Web to stop Madam Web from existing in the first place

The fact Zack Snyder laughs and mockingly answers with “who the fuck cares?!” to the question “how are the spaceships powered?” is one of MANY reasons he has ZERO business creating his own sci-fi universe. You don’t have to come up with scientific or even good answers to things like that, but as the CREATOR of this new universe you should CARE about BASIC surface level details like that if you expect fans to give two fucks as well.

Rebel moon makes literally no sense, an intergalactic empire that can bring the dead back to life and perform interstellar travel yet they can't make fully synthetic grain to feed their people??.....and what's sad Zack Snyder wants to make what? 6 films around an empire fighting farmers with a ton of other sub plots happening in the background.......my god😅

Apparently, Coppola never had a script ready before production officially began. He wrote it DURING production as he went along. No one, not even HE knew where the film was going and the cast and crew waited for hours while Coppola sat by himself thinking of ideas.

Ignoring for a moment that it clearly shows this movie had no thought put into it, how in the fresh fucking hell do you write a script on the fly mid production for a film that you've been planning for nearly FOUR DECADES?!

Megalopolis is proof that bad movies are not exclusive to certain genres.

21:12 the villain that's supposed to be intelligent enough to trick an NSA agent, know about classified technology, and built a successful business empire is also stupid enough to walk in bareface and brutally murder teenagers and expect all his problems to disappear.

Fun Fact:
The little girl who played Young Furiosa is the same girl who plays Maria in Sonic 3

What irks me about Madame Webb was how pointless it's existence is. You can't name drop Spider-Man himself. The movie is set in 2003 with terrible pop culture inconsistencies. All of the characters look like they'd rather be anywhere else than the movie they're in. Also, a solo movie for a character no one knows. I only know of Madame Web because of the Spider-Man cartoon in the 90s and one late 2000s video game. Boy, what a time to be a Marvel fan in 2024.

AVI ARAD has ruined so far...

* Borderlands
* Kraven The Hunter

* Daredevil (2003)
* The Punisher (2004)
* Elektra (2005)
* Fantastic Four (2005)
* X-Men: The Last Stand
* Spider-Man 3
* Bratz (2007)
* Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance
* The Amazing Spider-Man 2
* Ghost in the Shell (2017)
* Venom: Let There Be Carnage
* Uncharted (2022)
* Morbius
* Venom: The Last Dance

And now he's gonna ruin...

* Legend of Zelda
* Naruto

As long as Arad lives, there's no hope

the fact that they have spaceships in rebel moon but no combine harvesters is absolutely hilarious. you know an invention that predate space travel by 130 years.

So I recently saw a video about this kind of situation where they were testing some movie tropes and this was one of them

ONCE THE VEHICLE IS FILLED WITH WATER opening the door is only slightly more difficult than doing it on dry land because the pressure inside and outside equalizes. It's like trying to open ur car door during a seriously windy day not impossible just more difficult than usual

If the vehicle is still being filled with water then yes it takes super human strength to open.

Studios need to start spending some their obscenely bloated budgets to hire a guy whose only job is to look at scenes and say"That is some seriously shitty,jank GCI you got there!". Nobody else seems to be able to.

Cate is 55 years old, and wouldn't have been convincing in this if she had done it back in 2016 around Ragnarok, really was the End.

The best part of 2024 was seeing some of the diehard supporters of Zackman v Snyderman wake up to the fact that he is a big-time hack.

Bro some of these jokes had me dying lmao. Notably the Whoopi gas jokes. 😂

39:41 That is why Al and Frank are still around today, while most of their copycats faded into obscurity once the 90s ended.

As someone who absolutely loves the 1994 Crow film and the graphic novel it was adapted from, I never had a movie that I saw as "my least favourite movie ever made" until Rupert Sanders' The Crow hit theatres on that fateful day.

@succinctlylong 1 year ago

It's that bad! I'd rather look at the 1984 movie "The Toxic Avenger" than one of these current day movies trying to cash in on my nostalgia, while messaging the hell out of me.
