We just got introduced to the insanely talented beatboxer *Improver**, and… holy shit, “Feel the Future” blew our minds. The precision, the layers, the control — all from one mouth? Unreal. This was our first dive into his world, and it left us speechless (and suspicious he might be part AI 😂). Join us as we try to wrap our heads around how this dude makes *that sound humanly possible.

The BAAA is an inward bass. Apparently it's made by doing an inward chest bass, but my chest bass sucks and keeping the oral posture while inhaling is super hard for me.
The main synth sound used here is a new one for you because there are no duck sound users in Beatpella House, not to mention Improver inventing this variant. Duck sounds are a family of sounds where you squeeze air from a pocket in your cheeks against your gums (the academic term is buccal sound production), and are for example how Donald Duck talks. Improver's version here uses throat bass at the same time, which is apparently pretty easy to incorporate if you're good at duck sounds, which I absolutely am not. Check out Silver by Show-Go for another crazy showcase of duck sounds.
Also, you're right that the buzzy sections are lip rolls; you're learning well. Note that he pitched them accurately and that each beat had the same number of buzzes (well, not exactly, because he syncopated the beat slightly to keep it from getting boring, but you get my point). The kick is an inward kick, so he sucks in extra hard for the kick and then immediately smooths it down into a perfectly pitched buzz, repeatedly, for multiple sections. Absurd control. And not something you can autotune.
