Hi from Scotland ,from a fellow tea addict!

Well done Greg climbing up to JL for a great camp, I think the sheep were impressed as well. Nice video as always. I am gradually going through your videos, still a few more to go so keep them coming. Cheers Russ 👍

Thanks for taking us with you, Greg <3

Looked like a very quiet, scenic and relaxing camp. Another great video! 🏕

Great video!
The sheep visit was the highlight.
Well done mate and a big shout out from the Scottish borders mate.

Another great video Greg 👏

You reminded me of something from many years ago, I didn't have one but there was a sort of flask that used the Sun's heat to boil water. So I just had a look to see if it is still around.
Some of them are a bit daft, just a magnifying glass and a pile of twigs (and they claim it is solar).

The one I remember isn't there, but there are some they call Shower bags that claim can boil  water to over 100oC. So really it depends on whether the plastic is safe to drink from, none of the ones I looked at claim it can be used instead of a kettle, so it might not be safe.

Edit: Cancel that, it turns out those shower ones are definitely not safe to drink from.

Top man 👌

Hi Greg what views and love the sheep and of course your smile well done Pippa. My husbands says a big well done because he says I bet you would not have done it 6 months ago it shows your getting fitter so well done x

Hi mate. If you remember it was me chatting with you as we walked back to Edale car park for the last ten minutes on Saturday morning. Fair play for not taking a stove out.. i left mine at home too. I took my binoculars out with me for a change seeing as i had a bit of spare room. I'm glad i did, i actually spotted the mountains of Snowdonia way off on the horizon from up on the Woolpacks.  Carnedd Llywelyn to be precise.  A whopping 88 miles away! Anyway. It was was lovely chatting to you mate. You've got another subscriber!👍

Wow looked like you were on the top of the world there! Interesting bivvy, sounds like it worked well. I agree, you can’t make a brew with Luke warm water, just doesn’t work! I also agree with the thirst quenching of tea versus water - my theory is that the tea ‘steams’ your insides too! Nice one Greg 👍

Great camp, thanks for bringing us along.
Not sure about the tent choice.   For that money you could have gotten a Hilleberg which are world famous for quality.   I hope it works out well for you though as you deserve it!

Loving life.

You were lucky there Greg. Wasnt all that long ago when Good Bloke Outdoors got told to move on up there.
That Corinthia bivy looks well class. Way better than the jack lol. no snow gettin in that one mate.
Well I survived Fleetwith Pike. 6 hour ascent up the hard way with a 25+ kg backpack fulla gear n beer.
It was horrendous. Tue was the Worst day of the whole week. I had to sack off Fleetwith and headed for Black Star instead. Visibility was about 10ft, so I just played it safe and tossed the tent up just down off the summit. Wind and rain the entire trip. I was soaked. Ended up coming down to Dubs Hut then down to Buttermere lake. 4.5 hr descent. My knees still ache now a fortnight later off that descent lol.
I put the really crappy 15 mins of video I managed up. Never used a go pro in my life and didn’t get the chance to either cos the weather was so bad. Is been cracking the pavement here for weeks and the minute I go on holiday and start out, it just went horrible. lol.
Didnt realise they were so crap in low light too. I thought the flextail tent light would have been enough but no.
Still, it was good, I enjoyed it. Just wish the weather wasnt that bad but what can you do eh lol.

Wow loved the visitors ha! They were cute! Question on the bevy… it appeared to act like a blanket on the lower part… is it layered in such a way that if snow fell and accumulated you would still stay warm? I kept thinking you would put poles in over the foot box… never saw a bevy like this one. Happy trails! Looking forward to your next adventure….. hoping that hot tea will be on the menu👍

Thanks Greg, I thought swags we use in Australia were pretty claustrophobic,  but your set up certainly wouldn't be my choice,  I like a little more space.

Missed you
Sorry ive been away
Awesome as always 🎉
You Smashed it 🎉

Well done Greg another great camp. Being an old duffer I'm not sure I could handle getting in and out of the kind of bivy you're using there, think I would be happier in the tiny tent kind. I say well done for obeying the rules as yes the fires have been burning for weeks and as you rightly point out this is England and rain is never normally far away. I think I read that many of the crews around Tintwistle after couple of showery days last weekend. How are you getting on with the trekking poles - have they made much difference? Thanks as always for sharing 👍.

Hey😊 was waiting for the scare - was is the sheep 😊😂 - nice bivvy bag, just got myself a Dutch army hooped bivvy ( bit cheaper than yours lol)and can’t wait to try it. Thanks for sharing fella and see you on the next one, Claire 😊

Well done on that climb Greg! 🙌🏼 Squeaky bum time when it gets steep… We hiked Wansfell Pike on Saturday & I froze a couple of times & darent look down lol 😳…. That bivvy looks so cosy & great to just look at the night sky…will be interesting to see how it performs in the colder months…. Oh It grinds my gears to see the rubbish left behind by complete idiots 😡would love to name & shame them!! …. Awww & a Lovely cameo by the sheeps the grazers definitely gravitate to you bruv 😍….Great video shame about the luck warm tea makes you appreciate the next hot one even more eh 😅.. Keep on  giggling looking forward to the nxt one!…love ya bruv❤xxx
