My brother inlaw and I are buying Himis because of YOU!! We are riding London to Singapore then Perth to NZ. I'll be 67 and you've given me the confidence to risk my body for this adventure. Thank you and looking forward to see 200km!!

This is Amazing.  When you consider the fact that this bike is only a small 450cc single cylinder bike and you are, let's face it, not a little guy, and you ride it for hours at a time at 80 mph and more, and you have ran it into the redline many times (naughty, naughty) .... well.... the fact that it's gone over 90,000 miles is absolutely incredible.  What a super strong little engine.   That motor has absolutely proved itself.

This bike must be the overall #1 worldwide himalayan 450 mileage  wise.

Are you considering an engine teardown at 100K to check the specs and wear and tear versus a brand new one? That might be a cool set of videos to do. Even if it doesn't make it to 100K, what you've done with it is amazing and a testament to how well made it is. Wahoo!

Come on RE, give Fuzzy a new one! He's convinced me to buy one.

I was very fortunate today and went up to Baxter cycle today with my brothers and father today. It was my first time heading up to Baxter Cycle and it was a very pleasant experience. I met a lot of good people including you Mr.fuzzy. Talking to you and enjoying looking at as well as riding some bikes really put that spark of riding and the freedom back into me. It was a real pleasure. I’ll be getting my old Honda 919 back out after two years, however I think I’ll be looking into a royal enfield here soon. They really do bring the true spirit and enjoyment of cycling.

I bought my 2025 Himalayan 450 because of your videos. Great bike, but it dropped a valve at 3030 miles, breaking the stem and putting the valve through the piston. Royal Enfield shipped Moto Primo a brand new motor. My bike was down less than a month. I put 1000 miles on the new motor in 2 weeks. Break in oil change done again at 325 miles. This was a rare engine failure. I am very impressed with how my dealership and Royal Enfield warranty helped me out. Can't wait to pile more miles on. Good luck with your quest to 100k miles. You got this!

90k miles before a teardown on a single cylinder engine is pretty amazing. Should not be too expensive to fix up. Parts wear out, its pretty normal, but lets see what is it.

Its almost always the canshaft chain tensioner. Replace the guides too if its easy. Id do it before it skips and junks the block.

Amazing mate. That's 145,000kms!
For a 450cc single, that's been a true workhorse for 2 years, I would be extremely pleased.😊
Well done.

Noise just means it's still alive. When it goes silent, then you got to worry.

Don't give up now little Himmy, you're almost home! Wahoo!

Fuzzy I definitely understand the attachment to the bike. You and the himmy have many memories. I've rode motorcycles all my life as well. I just purchased a 25 KLR650 back in May. It's my first dual sport/ adventure bike as I've always ridden street oriented motorcycles. It is my new best friend. By far the most enjoyable motorcycle I have ever owned and ridden. I ride it almost every day. I hope to get long life from it as you have your himmy with proper maintenance. I think your himmy will happily make the 100k. And beyond. I think it's just noisy from wear. Be safe my fellow rider and long live the himmy!

People that dont ride dont understand , which is most people. this guy's has such a love for his bike. It seemed like he almost wanted to tear up. Life is good wahoo!

Fuzzy contact Royal Enfield in india ask for a teardown two things I bet they would be very interested on this kind of test, and it would be a publicity stunt, and very effective! You are an inspiration, I bought my himalayan 450 because of you! wahoo!

You're a legend Fuzzy! You got this!

Wow! Greetings from Romania

Go for it.... those of us with around 7k miles on ours need to know what we are looking forward to....

You are a legend, and the bike is legendary! No one else has done what you have done. Well done, Ride, the hell out that motorcycle get that 100,000 miles on the clock. Royal Enfield should put your bike in its motorcycle Museum.

A 145,000km in a couple of years  is Legendary.I've noticed engines go through stages Tight, loosening up,Loosened up,Loose & last legs.
When bike gets to loose stage it  will run really good especially just before the last legs stage. You notice it cause motor gets loose & runs very well & as long as you don't do burn outs or valve bounce it ringing it out through the gears the loose stage can last ages tens of thousands of kms but eventually need rebuilding before motor finally lets go & does major damage.
Trick is to rebuild or sell while still running good & not be tempted to ring it out.RE should give you a new bike & Baxters should tear down your bike at 100k & put a window on it & display it in shop.
Who said you need a big cube motor to do big miles.
