As per usual, your video is great! Super fun making this video with you, even though I screwed up my intro cut.

Listening through the speakers on my TV, all i can say is that i need a better TV.

Did like the Dylans

Dylan  Talks  Toooo   Much.
Better  Pick  Ups  on  TEMU.

I saw Milehouse Studios test a guitar body for moisture levels the other day. He didn't need to cut up it at all. I guess that's the difference between a collector and a luthier. Well, that and the colourful language.
The Roswells sound fine. The beauty of many of these cheap guitars is that everything is okay for most players. If you want to upgrade anything, you can without breaking the bank. I think Harley Benton are starting to move away from Roswells, some of the newer models have Isola or Tesla

Both sets of pickups sounded good. But DTT pickups didn’t sound good enough to change .

I like the Dylan's better. They sounded warmer to me.

Does that mean Dylan’s autograph is worth -$20.00. 🤔 Waaaay too funny! 🖊️😝

To me, it's a shame the Harley Benton doesn't have a Jazzmaster trem. Love the Jazzmaster trem.

The Russell's were brighter which I liked better.

I'm afraid I prefer the Roswells, Dylan's are... well, muddy, who would've thought. To be fair, maybe the Roswells are too crisp for some and lack some warmth, I could see that point for a more "jazzy" feel,  or muddiness is more "original", but still, I'd be happy enough with the $159 option and I'm sure I can get out more warmth out of the tone dial or some amp/box options if so desired. That said, I think the pickups of the cheapest HB JA60s - non-Roswell branded (like my DIY kit) are warmer and I think some prefer them even to the Roswells.

I thought the Dylan pickups sounded really good and weren’t harsh, as I found the stock ones to be.

I agree with you

I too like the original pu's. Much brighter and cleaner.
Thank you Jayce

I don't know what the relative output was between the DTT and the HB, but it might be interesting to put the DTT in the neck and HB in the bridge.  have to make sure the winding / polarity is right, but that might be fun.

Sorry Jayce, you didn't start the video by slurping coffee, I can't watch

On my speakers, the DTT were bit louder and had more bass response. But a little EQ on the HBs would make them sound almost identical.

they are both good, dtt were not as bright as the hb so it is a personal choioce

That HB looks sweet.
