I had the great honor of seeing her live on tour earlier this year and her show is legitimately a therapy session through music. Fantastic and healing.

Thank you for this reaction :) I'm glad to see someone who is genuinely interested in understanding the lyrics, appreciates the artistry and highlights these important topics.

I’m crying again 35:27 for the billionth time to this song.

Thank you for these deep dives. Really hits home tonight. I'm a huge Raye fan and seeing this community warms my ❤️

"I know you're hurting" was inspired by talking to her male bandmate at the time. They both lost sight of each other but by the time she recorded this, she realized she needed the song herself. Also, thank you for finding the necessity of Life Boat.

This version of "I know your hurting: is testament to all her live shows where she changes things up continuously. On this version RAYE took all the best bits from  those performances putting them into one. An absolute work of art. I can't listen to a couple of notes before losing it, simply phenomenal. LOVE,LOVE,LOVE.

Pleeeeease a I need part 3 now! ❤❤❤

The runway in these tracks is insane

Roscoe, that was the perfect reaction. I know how much you felt it. I think most veterans can relate!

Your facial expressions during the tracks say it all. Don't the tracks she released before make even more sense in the context of the whole album?

he gets it

I know your hurting was written about a friend but started with a chat with her male band members about mens mental health issues which filtered into the song

She's still in Winter in Click Clack Symphony.
It was even filmed in winter.

The album starts in Autumn. Click Clack is the last song of Winter (edit* the second song).
It's the first stage of making steps to recover from depression. Depression is an illness not feeling a bit sad, it can take time and nobody should prod people to rush it, there is no right speed. It may also be reoccurring.

00:10 - Winter Woman
09:40 - Click Clack Symphony
18:23 - I Know You're Hurting
31:15 - Life Boat  😭😭😭

Enjoy.

Geniunely convince her old label did her so dirty because they feared her at full creative power. It’s common and simple to think Oh, they didnt consider her marketable, they didnt see her potential, they underestimated her. The other side of that is No, they knew she was a threat to the methods of the music industry and thought, well maybe if we break her, if we ignore her and belittle her power, she’ll believe she needs us. WHY ELSE would you sign her and sleep on her??? I believe they do this in nearly every industry. It’s not about finding the best. It’s finding who can be controlled to push the narrative THEY want.

I respect you Sir 🫡🔐

omg you actually delivered by monday lol thanks mr
