Such an underrated album. One of their darkest and most melancholic ones.

I saw them on this tour play the entire album, i wish they would play more of this stuff today, killer album.

This is easily their best album since Seventh Son and their last really strong album.

Every one of them have such an awesome relaxed attitude, one of many secret ingredients to their well deserved immense success. Long live the mighty Maiden.

I think this is their strongest  album since Seventh Son, a fully realized prog piece, not a bad a song on here.

Unbelievable that this album is already 20 years old 😅

Back in 2007 I saw Iron Maiden live, it was A Matter Of Life and Death tour, I wasn't that young to realise how epic this album is

Love this album. Love the sound of it and the compositions. I mean just listen to when the guitars and drums enter in For the greater good and Lord of light and Bruce's vocals to that!

Their last really great album!! I played it for a year, and nothing else, through the worst rush hours of my lifetime.

The last dark atmosphere and best album god i was 10 on 2006 and i only heard the lord of light's bridge without know the band or song name until years later

I wish their were studio reports from all their records!

I just revisited this album and I was shocked by how great it is. There are no weak tracks. Out of the Shadows is a regular on my playlist, but Brighter than a Thousand Suns is majestic.

I lost track of Iron Maiden in the 90s, Bruce having left the band, and I dove into the 90s vibe . . . UNTIL I discovered Iron Maiden released a new LP, which I immediately bought. Matter of Life and Death, maybe my favorite Maiden LP, but I love it all.
