These debates had a lot of potential. Unfortunately paxman completely ruined it. I think he tried to be difficult but he just came across as rude.

"can i finish my sentence?"

"no!"

sums up the media bias perfectly

How can Paxman be angry that the Labout manifesto represents the whole party's beliefs and not just Corbyn's? Surely that's the sign of a good leader - he does have his own ideas but he's willing to listen to the masses, go with what the majority want and do what's best for the country, not just his own agenda.

In Spain we have a TV interviewer that copied Paxman's style right from the start of her career. The best critique to it was given by the Mayor of Madrid: "It's great that you're so eager to ask me so many things, but I think the people would enjoy more this interview If you also allowed me to answer them."

Holy fuck paxman let Corbyn answer the fucking question without interrupting him every 2 seconds.

Paxman: Asks about Immigration
Corbyn: starts talking about immigration
Paxman: "I'M ASKING YOU ABOUT IMMIGRATION"

It's embarrassing how much gentler Paxman was on May than on Corbyn.

Paxman needs some serious etiquette lessons. There's a big difference to being assertive and being plain rude!

Jeremy Paxman should look for another day job. Very rude and aggressive with Corbyn, who seemed reasonable and confident.

I'm no Corbyn fan but this debate was rigged

Jeremy smashed Paxman.
Well done Jeremy.
Paxman, you ask 5 questions in one, and then talk over the top of Corbyns reply. Seems like Paxman is trying his hardest to undermine Mr Corbyn - the true voice of the voiceless.

I am not a dictator.. Democracy.. Wise words, and jeremy paxman doesn't let corbyn answer 1 question without interrupting at some point... A very biased interview!

"There has to be a process where people TALK! TO! EACH! OTHER!"
Point taken, well done Corbyn!

I actually think it's a good thing that he hasn't just shoved his ideas in the the manifesto. A leader which democratically creates a manifesto is a far better leader than a dictator.
