Every animal Africa that disappeared was, at one point, the rarest animal in Africa.

Some of these could be problems. Anyhow, I would love to hear a traffic report that says there are no wooly mammoths rampaging against the flow of traffic on Cambie Street. That would be a good day.

Thanks for this Luke ,its where i live and am sad ,a true loss of a antelope that was eating fynbos to survive, unique

Hello Luke,
My name is Nikolas James William Sylvester, I'm 32 years old, but I'll be 33 years old soon, my birthday is on Saturday, October 17th. I just have something to tell you. I’m glad Colossal Biosciences is working to de-extinct several extinct animals, including the Woolly Mammoth, the Tasmanian Tiger, the Dire Wolf, the Dodo, the Moa and the Bluebuck. For the future projects, Colossal Biosciences has started the they have a long list of species that they want to revive and reintroduce to appropriate ecosystems. Such species include Castoroides, Arctodus and Steller’s Sea Cow, Colossal has also done genetic research for the following species: Irish Elk, Great Auk, Ground Sloth, Saber-Tooth Cat, Long-Horned Bison, Columbian Mammoth, Cave Hyena, Mastodon, American Cheetah, Tooth-Billed Pigeon and Woolly Rhinoceros with the intent to potentially revive them in the future. Beth Shaprio knows about these extinct animals, she’s the chief scientific office of Colossal Biosciences and I’m her biggest fan. Nigel Marven and his team: (Paul, Damien, Tom, Pete, Amy, Boc, Rachel, Dan, Jake, Willy, Suzanne McNabb and Saba Douglas-Hamilton) will love to hear this too. He works with animals on the prehistoric television series, like Prehistoric Park. Well Luke, what do you think? Let me know what you think when you’re available to check my message and reply to my email today or tomorrow or next week when you have a moment.
Talk to you soon, Nik

Love this series. So sad to see how many species we didn't get to see but also how exciting to see how many we could potentially get back!

So we will get Blue Africa Goat as a playable character?

I have to protest. If I could pick two, stellars sea cow, megatherium. I want to see a mammoth and a dodo.  But those really aren’t the most spectacular as I listed above. Please. Please bring them back.

I'm 46, and have never heard of this animal. Crazy

Granted, I've never seen a bluebuck, but being that they're in the Hippotragus genus, I'd say they probably resembled a smaller, bluish-gray sable or roan antelope, which are also in the same genus. Interesting how all three are named after a color/shade. Apparently, the bluebuck was shorter than a sable and had less of a developed mane, but had the amazing color.

"Looks like nothing else on the African continent" 😂😂 No, it's literally just a blue antelope.

That's just the animals there announcing. What kind of animals do they have that they did already 😯

So are some of the "blue bucks" in museum collections are actually roan antelopes and sable  antelopes?

It was probable similar in appearance to the Sable antelope

"so beautiful, so rare... I have to shoot it" so said every early explorer

Love how explorers would see a beautiful, rare species and immediately shoot it. 😢

It's a legendary pokemon.

When are they going to bring back the WereJaguars ?

Is that, Torrent fron Elden Ring?!

Ur so cool 😎
