I've been using the Sterling Ink Complete Planner as my journal throughout 2026, and after almost nine months of actually living with it, I now have a much better idea of what works for me and what doesn't.
In this video, I'm taking a look back through my 2026 journal so far, from January through to September. I'll show you my monthly spreads, talk about some of the highlights (and less successful months!) and look at the Rosey Life Planner kits I've used along the way.
I'll also show you how I'm currently using the monthly, weekly and daily pages, including how I've adapted the weekly layout to work for the way I like to journal.
And with Sterling Ink's 2027 lineup now announced, I'm using everything I've learned from this year's journal to decide what I want for next year. There are some changes to the lineup too, including a new horizontal weekly option and a choice between hardcover and softcover, so I'm weighing up the different options before the 2027 presale.
This isn't really a question of Sterling Ink versus another planner brand. I'm pretty sure I want to stick with Sterling Ink — the paper has been fantastic for me, with no issues using my fountain pens and inks. It's more a question of which Sterling Ink planner will work best for how I've actually discovered I like to journal.
So… after nine months, what will I choose for 2027? Let's have a look. 💕

I am also using JustScribbles weekly duo for work, FadedChronicle TN for Gaming/Media journalling, and FadedChronicle A5 Collective for learning languages. I'm at that stage where I love my current planners but also can't wait to ditch them for my new 2027 planners! 😁
For 2026 I also ordered the Sterling Ink complete planner and common planner fairy floss both B6, and even though they are perfect, B6 flow from Rosey Life Planner was more suitable for me.
I think I found the one for me, of course I’m not using all the pages for what they are meant to, but it works great. 😊❤

I'm currently torn between the different Sterling Ink options, particularly the Complete vs Common layout and the new horizontal/vertical and hardcover/softcover choices.
