The process of finding the actors to play some of the most iconic and influential people in history was daunting but ultimately beautiful. And it’s not only impacted viewers, but the actors themselves.

Erick Avari as Nicodemus was one of the best casting decisions I can think of.

"I expected something much cheesier," she said. So did I. I expected a typical Hallmark-level sort of thing. Not this. What they've done with this is amazing. They've made a Biblical drama of actual contemporary QUALITY and appeal. It's beautiful.

Noah is the perfect fit for Andrew. Every scene with him and Simon is golden.

The guy who plays Matthew does an outstanding job! One of my favourite characters. Actually, I think this was a perfect cast...Nicodemus was also fantastic! Peter does a great job as well.....They all just do great!!!!!!!!!! well done!

One thing I have noticed in most of the actors/actresses, most of them were in their lowest points before they were casted, proving that God is in this show bringing people towards Him and the audience.

Nothing can top Roumie's performance...and yet every member of the cast is still giving him a run for his money. A credit to the entire cast and crew, and the message of the entire show, that everyone is absolutely killing it.

This show makes me fall in love with Jesus more. Everyday, again, all over again. Just love it!

There's something about Matthew --I just LOVE his character..and really feel a connection between the actor that plays Matthew and his execution of the role. Just love it.

The actors fit the personality of the people they portray.

I think it’s no coincidence how this show saved them when they most needed it ❤

The scene with Nicodemus and Lilith was so powerful. The way she switched to possession and said, “You have no power here teacher.” I knew there was depth to the character that I wanted to see. To find out it was Mary Magdalene was amazing.
