During the spooky doll craze, MGA Entertainment conjured up some witchez. When Bratz were losing popularity and Monster High was ruling the world, MGA Entertainment released Bratzillaz: a doll line that was not so subtly inspired by their popular competitor. I looked into the entire timeline of Bratzillaz from conception to disappearance and uncovered some interesting details that aren't common knowledge.

These dolls were my childhood! I had three and my sister had one, we would argue over who played with which and loved them!!!

I loved bratzillaz when I was younger, the song went platinum in my house lol😭 I rlly loved the idea of witches, but I never understood why they were the “cousins of the bratz” and had extremely similar names

Bratzillaz my queens ❤❤ I only started collecting in 2022 so I wasn’t around for the original release, but the designs are so good considering the financial troubles MGA were in. They’re so iconic to me 🧙‍♀️🧙‍♀️

I still have one of the original dolls and in box (either Meygana or Jade) I wonder how much she’d go for!

About the music video, we need a cosplay just like the dolls itself. Including Novi Stars and Lalaloopsy

Omg I forgot about these! 😂 I love ur channel, and if you’re looking for an idea, you could do a video on Strawberry Shortcake! I think it would fit with your channel because of all the reboots and charcters! ❤

vampires are often associated with magic, sorcery, or supernatural power in mythology and in many books, including Dracula which kinda makes sense for her to be vampire and witch but she is just a witch with similar vampire abilities.
it is really clever idea to use vampirism and witchcraft for the creation of vampelina's character but it is still missed opportunity & potential.

They should have focused in the hair quality because it was sooooooo bad 😥😭

It makes me happy to see that mga seems interested in bringing them back

I have no idea how i found the webseries. it may have been extra feature on a DVD movie, or i may have found it on youtube. I can't remember. But what i do remember is really liking the characters and how they looked. I most especially liked Yasmina, she looked cool.

Cool Video!!!

18:20 Actually here in Finland, Easter IS associated with witches, lol. A long standing tradition on Easter is for children to dress up as witches, take a "wand" made of pussywillow stems, and go door to door doing "virpominen", which is coincidentally a lot like trick-or-treating in the US at Halloween since you got chocolate as a reward from each house. These days Halloween is celebrated here too, but when I was a little kid the concept of going door to door for candy would have been much more associated with Easter.

Can you explain more or make an video about the mga vs mattel lawsuit? You referenced it but never told us why it was caused in the first place. Great video, I was a HUGE monster high fan and I Instantly knew that this was an exact copy of MH but I was loyal af so I always prefered MH to bratzilla (although I had the one that looked like Draculara since she was my favorite) and never had in interest in bratz dolls in the first place
