If you want to seriously DATE a Puerto Rican start by asking to meet their friends. Then ASK to meet their parent(s). Don’t wait to be asked. ASK first. You win over the parents, and you are home free.

I was born in the states of Boricuas parents, my children were born in PR but raised in the USA. I've been living my entire life between the USA and P.R. I moved back to the island a Year and a half ago, and all I can say is "what's datting in P.R.? I can't even meet people my own age, the population of Puerto Rico is majority constituted by old people, it looks like people of my generation( GenX  ) have left the island. I am 50 years old, and all I seen are men that are either too old  or too young for me.

What happens in Puerto Rico stays in Puerto Rico.

Number one Puerto Ricans are AMERICANS. The females are raised with dignity and respect the majority of them. They still to this day have the Spanish custom of courtship meeting the family and what are your intentions etc. Puerto  Rican women are not easy prey. You need to respect them learn the culture speak Spanish if possible and commit. Which is difficult for mainland especially certain communities.
