A 50-minute Cole Wehrle interview? Cool, that should be around 3 questions!

Thanks for the interview. I think I've hunted down every single Cole Wehrle interview from the last 5 years just to hear him talk about his approach to designing. Thank you for adding to that pool of resources.
We're so lucky to have such a skilled designer double up as being such a reflective and articulate presenter. He's truly one of a kind.

To be fair, Luke Skywalker should have allocated more power to his fleet supply. Could have saved Porkins that way :D :D :D

Super cool to hear a designer talk about his methods. I’ve always wanted to try out Arcs but it came out right when we started having kids and I haven’t had a lot of time for games since then. With this Kickstarter I started getting more interested in it and I’m hoping to commit to making it happen.

The genesis of Arcs and the cathedral of ideas its built upon is amazing. Oath is still my favorite, but it's getting close. Lately I've finished the first campaign of Arcs, and that's something entirely mindboggling!

Out of Root Oath and Arcs Oath is by far my favourite. I love all 3 but I LOVE Oath.

The theme, the tableau building of the lands and denizens with rule bending abilities that make up the landscape for each game, the hidden win condition system, the chronicle system where the person who wins and the way in which they win dictates how the next game starts, the story moments and memories recalled from game to game when that denizen that helped in game swinging move in previous game rears its head again or the ruined edifice of a toppled empire of the past aids in removing the current empire from power. Chefs kiss

Can’t wait to see how New foundations changes and builds on top of this brilliant game.

I'm halfway through the interview and wondering if Cole Wehrle has read China Mieville's Perdido Street Station. This just makes me want to play Arcs again...
