So cool to finally get to hear a small engine with a British accent!

Looks like somone reached down the spark plug hole with a screw driver and scratched the hell outta the piston. How strange.

thank you, love the old engines

reminds me of an old briggs

bravo restauration parfaite

You never see any restorer leave the patina on it this was a great candidate for that and could I have put clear coat over the shroud pieces.

Really enjoying these engine restoration rebuilds on your new channel daggerwin would love to see more off these and see this new channel grow in 2026 that is a very nice little rotovator it was doing a lovely job

I will become a channel member on your main machinery restorer channel when I get paid next week daggerwin to support your channel and projects loving your content and channel 👍

Great job and great video also thank you for all the effort you put into your channel.👍

Awesome job Chap.

Great work as always 👍👍👍

This Suffolk engine reminds me a LOT of some of the Briggs & Stratton 6 / N cast iron engines of the '40s and early '50s.

Hi, nice job, the powder coating will be better than original.
One of my favourite engines cast iron Suffolk , yours is the 98cc.
Great to see it run, now time to put the spuds in!

Damn, ive been around this channel to know what engine this is from, its that rototiller you pulled out of tall grass & restored it, damn i feel old 🥲

Well done, sir!  By chance, have you seen how James Condon removes aluminum deposits off the journal of cranks?  He soaks a narrow strip of cloth in acid which he wraps around the journal, ensuring the entire journal is bathed in it.  I think he uses a bit less acid this way.  Regardless, no one can argue with your results.

I have about 10 of these. First stripped one when I was aged 10. A little work with emery paper on crank and con rod and it'll be fine. They always rattle anyway

The sump and basic design look a lot like the old cast iron Briggs engines that were about 1.5HP

Getting to see a bunch of inside work. On both your channels. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Amazing job done 👌and no ultra slick assembly lube used 🤔just 3 in one oil👍👍

Hi,  I love your main channel so it’s great to discover your second one as well.
Are all these videos going to be without commentary? I know you probably have a split audience of what people prefer but I do enjoy your commentary, its perfect to put on when I’m ploughing a field or something and I only need to partly concentrate

No Ultra Thick (Slick) reassembly Lube?
