Adam and Burt had an amazing chemistry. They definitely were the best Batman and Robin. It was a great show.
I'm sorry to hear that Burt wasn't paid what he deserved.

I raced home every Sunday to watch this Batman show, with my Grandfather. Some of the best times I ever had.

Always Joker was my favorite villain. I met Cesar Romero when I was a kid at a best western in Prescott Arizona.

I really like Cat woman Julie Newmar for obvious reasons. I was a child but I had a HUGE crush on her.  That said, Frank Corshin as the Riddler, is my favorite villain.

Burt Ward was cool and underrated

I didn't like the show or any of the movies.  But I loved what Adam said about his Batman - "The current Batman is the Dark Knight.  But I like to think of my Batman as the Bright Knight."  VERY well said, sir!

Absolutely the greatest of all times are always the original.

Adam and Burt came to the college I was attending in the early 90's.  They were a blast - it was an amazing night.  I will say he was pretty raunchy, which I wasn't expecting.  Was still an incredible evening that I still cherish.

He looks like a living Mad Magazine drawing.

"Holy strawberry Batman, we're in a jam" is my favorite line.

Adam West and Burt Ward brought wit and excitement to the characters of Batman and Robin. One of the best examples of American 60s pop culture.

Because of your Works with the big dog breeds Robyn, you’re officially my all-time hero

When I was going to college in Malibu in the 70 ‘s, a friend of mine took a walk on the beach and met Burt’s girlfriend. Burt met the girl friend after Batman  was over. In order to make money he went from town to town to town showing off the bat mobile all over  America. In one of those towns he met this girlfriend. She wanted to be a singer.   ( she had a great voice) He told her he would try to help her get famous. She left her 4 year old son with her mother to live in Burt’s condo in Malibu. He would buy a months worth of food for her and then leave for a month to tour the bat mobile. She was lonely and after several months he came home one day to find her in bed with his brother. I met Burt one time after he came home from his bat mobile tour. He was going through all of his business messages in his voicemail.  He was going through them at lightening speed. He seemed angry.

In the 70’s a friend of mine went to a dinner theater here in Indianapolis. While there he went to the restroom well before the play started. Adam West was the headliner. While in the restroom my friend said he heard someone come in and stood right beside him. He turned and looked and it was Adam West! Then he blurted out, holy urinal it’s Batman! They finish there business and he said Adam busted out laughing. He slapped my friend on the back and said, that was a good one my friend! In true Batman form!
This story is TRUE!

I met Burt at an appearance as Robin at a shopping mall in the late 70s.  He was there with a batmobile from the show.  I still have the autographed picture from that day.

Ward and his wife founded a pet food initiative that opposed the standard that feeds dogs with lard-based meal.
They are true pet activists!

I feel deeply sorry for the late Adam West and Burt Ward. This is because after the inevitable cancelation of the 1960's Batman TV series, their acting careers were ruined by typecast and it was very difficult for these two poor guys to find other acting roles, if even at all. Despite it being very difficult for Adam West to find other acting roles after Batman, West still turned down an offer to play James Bond because of how he clearly understood that only a British guy should play the part of James Bond.

Yes! They're the real Batman & Robin 😉👍❤️💯

Burt came to my elementary school back in 84, not as Robin but as Burt.  He spoke to us about just his life and being on the tv show.  We did Q&A with him and he was just a generally a nice guy from what I remember.  That evening he dressed up as Robin and came to the local library and had his pic taken with me via polaroid old school.

This is still one of my favorite shows ever! Im 55 and Adam West and Burt Wards portrayal as the caped crusaders has never been topped!
