Ranking EVERY Gears of War 1 Chapter (Tier List)

Gears of War 1 is one of the greatest Xbox 360 games ever made, but which chapters are actually the best?

In this video we rank EVERY chapter from Gears of War 1, including the chapters cut from the original game, from S tier down to D tier.

Note - I recorded this video a year before publishing, I am now speedrunning the game on insane difficulty, so some of my playing and comments are a bit nooby.

Anyway... Agree? Disagree? Let me know your rankings in the comments.

The lost chapters weren’t technically lost. They were cut from the xbox 360 version but the PC version of the game kept them on but it was nice to see them remastered.

This is a dope idea for a video, please do gears 2 an 3. Also feel like this video should be popping off. Very enjoyable

Hammerburst slander will not be tolerated.

Great video man! I would love to see this for the whole series. Maybe on harder difficulty because it does change how levels are played!

this video is perfect for me as i just beat the original game on 360, on insane difficulty. I genuinely love the editing in this video, would love to see you cover the other gears games, 2 being my fav campaign of all time.

The hammerburst Unfortunately outclasses the lancer in dps

6:01 fun fact, this fight right before you meet Baird, this section is really fun and an absolute BREEZE on shit like insane IF you carry the hammer of Dawn all the way here as you get to have arguably the best fun with it here. Not many people ever carry the hammer all the way to this fight, and honestly makes this end section a lot more fun. And Going ham with the hammer always is!

I appreciate them adding the PC exclusive chapters in act 5 for the remasters, but I could care less of the actual content of them. I see why they were removed and prefer act 5 much more without them

7:10 I was today years old when I learned you can kill berserkers by shooting them after you’ve used the hammer of dawn

Act 2 and 3 are my favorites because of the horror. As far as satisfying gameplay I’d say act 4 was my fav

I honestly would have put most of Act 2 after the Kryll become a thing as the lowest points in the game. It's fine the first time but just not that fun to replay... then I played the extra chapters in act 5 after getting the Ultimate Edition and those take the place as the low point of the game. It wasn't even fun the first time outside of the novelty of new levels.
