arena costing shards was a mistake. i'm fine with banging my head against a challenge if it doesn't burn all my money or force me to circumvent it via saving...

Guerilla should make your videos the official tutorial for their game at this point 🎉👏🏻

It is so comforting to see you make the occasional mistake or have a plan not work. But you stay so chill and keep going. And you are still so amazing.

Bro, I can't tell you how much I appreciate these tutorials. They've helped me out a ton. Much appreciated.

This is, by far, the best Ultra Hard Arena tutorial for Forbidden West. If I end up making it to 100% game completion on a NG+ UH run, you will definitely be in my credits roll.

Can’t say I’ve ever felt more rage than putting up a long buzzer beater fight against the tremor tusk, snag him right in the eye and he finally falls. But then I’m like wait why is the timer still going and the completion notification not popping up?? And then I friggen see it, three borrowers that had yet to be seen emerge from the earth. Dude must’ve called them in .4 seconds before dying

That’s some intense planning and resource management. So many traps, potions, smoke bombs, weapons, and ammo to keep track of using at certain points of the arena battles. Impressive!!

Even two years later, your guides are great! I've been using them on PC.

The annoying thing to me is the time limit. I like running around, stealthing, using potions, it takes time. I hate losing medals just because I took 1 minute and 32 seconds to kill 3 machines instead of 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Rematch made me quit the arena. I'm an old guy, make me play with fixed equipment after I grind all my shit out, just not feel right.

@tst_09 1 year ago

8:27 I tried to copy that but got myself blown up by the three elite purgewater traps right at the start 😂

@ryanmcgloondc1014 3 years ago

I'm not even kidding, I went from not being able to beat the From the Deep challenge, to the top 39th global spot. 52 seconds, DocRyan88, that's me. Got a little lucky with all the traps hitting nessy while hitting the Crocs. Thanks for the content!

@scottusry8205 3 years ago

Your usage of traps and smoke bombs has been eye opening. I feel like I handicapped myself on first playthrough. Thanks

6:51 Crafting ammunition while waiting for the shredders to come back is such a pro move… I never thought of that… It’s one of those tactics that divides a true player from the rest.

You are doing such great videos, it’s clearly visible how much work you put into it and also how your videos continuously get even better.

Was struggling a little bit with ultra hard arena, especially since I did a new game on ultra hard and not a new game plus. Started thinking and thought, “Wait, why not spam traps everywhere?” Started to then breeze through the challenges and ended up finishing apex predators is just under 2 minutes. Good video and great strats as always.

I love how as I’m progressing through the game, when I need a tip or some help on something, I know you have a banger video for me to watch lol

@razamadaz3417 2 years ago

THE most frustrating time your ever likely to have in a video game, the enemies like to pummel and juggle you endlessly making for a highly frustrating experience as there really is no chance to attack or form any kind of attack, also, the fact that the Arena does not let you use you hard earnt weapons in his mode is a fkn travesty.

@julius6159 3 years ago

dude can’t thank you enough for making this. the challenges have been driving me nuts and your pointers are super useful

@dondvj22 3 years ago

All your videos are great, but this one helped me do something I never thought I'd be able to do, which is complete the arena on UH. I used a lot of your strategies but was also able to come up with my own to help complete the challenges. Love your channel and I hope it keeps growing.
