Although your course covers well how to learn to play Rhythmaning by ear , the format is not well suited for alto sax players whose instrument is pitched in Eb which means I had to transpose the concert pitch notes you mention down a minor third and for bass lines in the bass clef also tricky, up 1 or two sharps .Also tenor sax in Bb pitch has a uniform tessiture or vocal range approximating to the range of a baritone male vocalist and that makes playing by ear much easier. --- the PART 1 and PART 2 did however enable me to play the whole 32 bar tune correctly, for which i feel very grateful! I recognized Chris Teal's trombone pedigree from playing with big bands I believe.
