Robert Hanson's Trophy Map: The Anchorage Hunter of the Knik River

Alaska’s beauty hides a predator. In Anchorage, dancers vanish, a .223 casing glints in the sand, and a survivor runs into the road still in handcuffs.
This Ice Cold Killers episode tracks the chilling hunt for a red‑haired stranger targeting women from Fourth Avenue to the Knik River sandbars. From Sherry Morrow’s shallow grave to the unknown “Aklutna Annie,” clues point to a hunter who binds, blinds, and vanishes into the wilderness. Then a 17-year-old escapes at Merrill Field, pointing to a small plane and a well-known local baker. What police pull from an attic—and what’s etched on a hidden map—changes everything. The Mini-14, the blindfolds, the trophies, and the river islands all converge into one of America’s most infamous cases.
How did investigators connect scattered remains to a single rifle? What did the FBI profile reveal about the man behind the stutter? And why did a simple attic search break the case wide open? Watch the full story unfold.

My heart goes out to the victims and theirs loved ones and even to the young girl who managed to survive by sheer dumb luck. I have no doubt she lives everyday of her life with PTSD from what happened. I just hope for her sake, that she chose a different path then what she originally started with.
This isn't the only serial killer who hunted prostitutes, there were two modern day killers who did the same thing (just they weren't hunters) and they would draw in women and invite them to his farm. The guy constructed an old barn into a night club (Piggy Palace) they called it, they would take the women and poison them with antifreeze and then turn their bodies into hamburgers serve them to the club and the rest went to the pigs. Absolutely sickening and evil.
